Yep, another tattoo

I got my first tattoo a little over a month ago and I'm going back tomorrow to schedule an appointment for a second job. The first

is some artwork from the band Coheed and Cambria and I'm going to be getting a GJ from the band glassJAw (personalized by me). I'm excited. I have another seven or so planned and I'm contemplating on getting sleeves but I'm just determining whether I want to wear long sleeve shirts for the rest of my working life. Well, please don't flame me for what my tattoos are; they are significant to many memories in my life that is why I can justify getting them.

i like glassjaw a lot, but i think that i would never be able to get a band's logo or name or anything tattooed, unless it was just so cool visually i think. just seems too temporary and fleeting a part of my life.

as it is i've been working on tat ideas using various song lyrics as a base and have yet to decide on one

make sure to let us see the new one when you get it!

it really doesn't hurt that bad. i found it mildly annoying but not painful. that said, i hate that i got a tattoo but i suppose i can look at it like any of my other scars, just a mark of things i've done in the past. my tattoo sits right near my most recent scar from a dirtbike crash last august. the mark of a tomboy. :p

to the OP: looks good. :)

it's almost shameful to post a picture, i'm always thinking "why did i do that?" when i see it. but like i said, just another mark of thing i've done to my body in the past.

but ok, here's a picture. this is before i got a road-rash scar 6 inches below it [and to the right] from a dirtbike crash. it means virtue. :rolleyes: :eek:

Here is a very low quality tattoo of my tattoo(camera phone). It says "I never sleep cause sleep is the cousin of death" with a little cross below it. It is from the NaS song NY state of mind, it also has personal meaning, it is on the back of my calf.

You look tense Blue...I know you don't know me very well...but I think a back rub is in order...:D ;) Perhaps you've had one since the photo and are feeling much better now. I think my wife needs a backrub now though...thanks for the idea!

Oh...and my wife has 2 or 3 small tattoos in various spots, but I have yet to find the right combination of time, money, and artistic talent to get the band (not a muscal band...the circlet-around-arm type) I want on my arm. If'n I'm going to have it done, I want no regrets...or to hear myself addressing the artist with comforting words like ", it's ok...this was basically what I wanted".
