Some of jailbreak just because we can!
Themes, Cycorder, Status Notifier alone are things well worth JBing for!

Some of the themes, are awesome, and a million times better than stock. Glass Orb is my favorite.

Now that people are stealing apps, I bet it's going to start getting harder to JB.

But for purposes outlined above, Jailbreaking is still very active. Tons of people are creating new apps and themes daily!

The kid is paitently waiting for the 2G touch JB, for the sole reason to theme.

i got the 1G ipod touch for the fact that your able to jailbreak yea im sure later on they would come out with the 2G jailbreak, but i love my 1G ipod touch its so cool.. plus i got at such a cheap price i cant complain 180$ so im good and i have jailbroken as of now with versioon 1.1.5 which i should be upgrading soon but as of now its pretty cool with the themes and stuff loving it.!!

jailbreaking is FAR from dead. my ipod touch is jailbroken, and not so i can pirate apps. i have it jailbroken for the themes emulators, and other little stuff

Its alive to me... I like my landscape PSP theme way better than the normal springboard...
Check Ipod touch fans forum constant stuff in there... thats where i found out how to get the PS3 startup sound to play (through headphones or speakers) when I unlock it to go with my theme...
