It’s a 10 year old phone in a ziploc bag, plenty of other reasons no one is replying, lol. After a whole day and only 6 replies to this thread is an indication for sure! Small phones are not coming back anytime soon.
Maybe check the entire forum because this is a recurring subject. I have already stated my thoughts in other threads and simply didn't feel the need to do it here again. But hey, since I'm here now, a 6.1" phone is bigger than some of us need or want. After a whole day and only 6 replies to this thread is an indication for sure! Hard to watch the Reacher series on that screen or a movie. Been there, done that regarding a movie. I remember when I had the 5s and getting tired of looking at such a small screen when Samsung had the note 5 with a much larger screen. I actually swapped iOS to android for a month (had to swap the android due to camera issues), then Apple introduced the 6plus. I returned the android phone and got the 6 plus. The camera was good for the time, but I’d never go back to a screen that small. Currently using two 16 pro max units, hopefully the 17 pro max will be worth upgrading to. As far as I can tell, the telephoto camera will be the only upgrade. The 1x fusion camera & ultra wide will stay the same.
It’s hard to do that on any phone, IMO.Hard to watch the Reacher series on that screen or a movie.
My days of using a tiny phone with a tiny screen and tiny keyboard ended the day the first ProMax was introduced.

The iPhone SE2/3 (iPhone 6) screen size is still supported, and what’s more, it has the Display Zoom option which makes it render like an iPhone 5/SE1. So apps have to work with that, today. The iPhone SE3 will likely receive regular iOS updates until 2029.The thing the “I’m not upgrading until they make another small phone” crowd doesn’t seem to grasp is, devs aren’t going to go back and revert all their code to render apps on tiny screens. It’s just never happening.

2016 SE is my favorite phone of all time, but having half my screen turn into ellipses because modern apps and websites are designed for 6.1"+ screens makes it a tough sell.Paraphrasing Field of Dreams:
If Apple builds it, they will come!
Have other phones, but still rocking the 2016 SE. Love how it slips easily into my pants pocket, how easy it is to hold, and how it works with the classic, standard Apple white wired earbuds. Camera is fine, phone calls a peach, and most of my apps run just fine on it.
Have a 32” TV for movies and TV shows — unlike many, would never watch them on a phone!
No, not really. Of course a 13 inch iPad would be better but watching a movie on a 6.9 inch screen is easily doable, especially if that’s all you have with you & using Apple AirPods or Bose Ultra earbuds. Simple to watch a movie during lunch at a café, restaurant, etc.. using the iPhone. Besides anytime you take video on your phone, you go back and watch it. The smaller the screen the worse it looks. It’s hard to do that on any phone, IMO.
I have one of those sitting right here. It's insanely slow, but I do find the size kind of amazing. If there was a way to temporarily activate it, I would definitely pop it in my pocket for a night out occasionally.and i'm not ashamed to say it. my OGSE even fits inside a tiny snack pack zip lock for protection.
Just because you like tiny phones, “it doesn’t mean anything”. Tolerant of others much?Just because you don’t like small phones, it doesn’t mean anything.
Many people would like to buy smaller phone but Apple doesn’t offering one, so they use older small phone or forced to buy whatever available.
Many, sure. Many people would like to buy smaller phone but Apple doesn’t offering one, so they use older small phone or forced to buy whatever available.
The big phone people do not understand why the small phone people get upset either. I was just stating my preference and why I preferred larger phone and a little phone person went on the attack! To each their ownI like my 13 mini a lot. I'll probably keep it until Apple cuts support or it dies. I'm not expecting Apple to develop a new small phone as a favor to me.
I have very little interest in how big phone people feel about small phones. I don't understand why they get so agitated over the matter.
