Look even if this thing isn't a shopped fake, chances of it being a final build is very unlikely. When AT&T were road testing the 1st gen iPhone, the case's weren't the same look & feel we got last June.

I would say considering we now have at least 6 cell companies either shipping or preparing to ship iPhones, they will get final hardware in a dull as dishwater case. Just so Steve-o can 'reveal' the next gen iphone to the world during a special event or WWDC rather than some oik field tester.

That is just picture of the LG VU, resized, and POORLY PHOTOSHOPPED.

Can someone tell me where we send in our spy shots of the new iPhone? I just snapped a picture of one in the wild!

iphone2.jpg

It's a little grainy because I had to take the picture really fast. We wern't supposed to have cameras in there!

The Sony Ericsson W960i then!..
It could be a bad photoshop of any number of phones. Compare the levels-adjusted original with the Nokia in the attached picture for example.

As if Apple would redesign the iPhone to:

1) look like every other phone out there
2) have an off-centre home button

It's not even a good fake.

another thing...

the photo claims to be taken on a "Minolta Digital Camera" model "DiMAGE Xt".

in the reflection of the phone you see the camera. the lens is round. every DiMAGE Xt i've seen on google has a square lens.

You're right. It could be any other phone but it is actually Sony's own image of the W960i that's been doctored to look like an "iPhone" (yeah right!).

If you look at the highlights and shadows, the shape of the speaker and the position of the camera it exactly matches the Sony image. Either way it's rubbish and I'm not sure why we're even talking about it still.

Its actually a sony from the slim range of cameras they have. Along the lines of this model the T50

You can tell from the lens cap to the flash and that little red light thing underneath it.

Might not be the T50 but its from the same range that sony has had for the last few years.

Edit: Might be a T1.

I guess this is like the bigfoot problem. In order to fool people, you need to post a high resolution image taken in decent light - which is not hard to do at all, but would reveal the hoax instantly.

I guess it's just insulting for those people to expect us to buy into small blurry images.

How about this idea for the iPhone

Add video recording support to and then allow users to upload videos with one click to YouTube.

I can see that.

Redesigned iPhone especially for hackers...

Ok this is it, the real 3G iPhone. Really hope my leaked image gets the attention it deserves, along with all the rest of the ones that are blatantly photoshopped (which mine isnt...) ;) :D :p So here it is:

Okay guys,

Now something I don't get, why showing a little camera on the iPhone face ?
You think it " makes it more 3G " ?

" 3G " does NOT mean visual-phone.
It only means the network the phone's working on is faster.

In fact, if Apple put an iChat application as they'll probably do on the iPhone, then an iSight will come over ...

If they don't, I doubt the fact a 2nd camera will pop in...

Oh, and by the way, the hoax we just saw up there, i love it !
Why do you guys say you cant stand fakes iPhone ?

I think it's exciting, the little 3 minutes you spend on google to find out if it's real are funny :p

Since downloading will be supported, and since you'll be able to access regular YouTube site, you'll upload anything you want dude ;)

Dude!!!!! Its a joke, a laugh, a mess around... You have seriously missed the point there. You have made a bit of a tool of yourself now.

I made a bit of nothing of myself.

Most of people on the internet, thinks the iPhone 2 will come with visual call, that's why i'm reporting, regarding the comment you left,

U got me wrong there friend ;)
