Chapter 2 -- The Date
Well, looks like I'm in for an interesting day tomorrow. We finally are having our first date...AT MY HOUSE, WITH MY MOM GONE!!!!
Seems a little awkward for a first get together, but hey, I'm not complaining. Whatever happens, happens.

A date is simply a gathering arranged on a particular day and time. However, I can agree that in the relationship sense I think a date implies actually doing something rather than the chick coming over.
Well, this one chick I was getting to know, that has since, before I could even ask her out, let me know she only wants to be friends, for now and in the future, well.... I'd go over to her dorm and look at her artwork and we'd talk. And she'd come over to my dorm and she'd play bass (I was and am teaching her) and I'd play guitar and we'd jam to the same song for hours and hours and hours because she is just getting the hang of it.
So I think a girl coming over can be a great date. I wish I could say they were great dates, but they weren't really dates, we were and are (sadly) just friends.
