You can scan one finger more than once (set it up for two to three "separate fingers"). For me, this has made it a lot more accurate and quick to respond.
I've read this and tried it. It never helped me.

The SE we have us my sins so it's not that concerning lol.

I traded in my 6 Plus for a 64gb Space Gray SE. Best upgrade ever. I feel extra large screens are for people who tend to only have one computing device. I love the small phone size of the SE to complement my 9.7 Inch iPad, 15 inch MBP, and that extended to a 27 desktop setup at any time. Small, powerful phones are going to be the next market to chase after.
Yeppers. Exactly my thoughts. I dumped my iPad mini to get a 6 plus but found it too cumbersome for typing and taking pics because I like to use my phone one handed. So, went for a 6S. Better, but I prefer not only the SE's size (not all women carry hockey bags for purses) but I like the edge. Now, I want to get a small iPad Pro so I can get back to reading all the things I couldn't on my big phone! Still have my 13" MBP...

I love seeing everyone happy with the SE purchased! I am very very tempted to sell my 6s plus and purchase a 64gb se. Just don't have money right now to pick one up

Congrats to you Koolmagicguy!

You may have the fastest, best ergonomically designed iPhone that Apple make.

And you don't have to be ashamed of its design if you use it without a case.

And you can type with it flat on the table without it rocking about.

AND the battery life exceeds the 6S and 6S+ for most screen based usage.

AND it's pretty damn cheap compared to the rest of the lineup!

Apple should be applauded for making this phone. Just because it uses a classic design doesn't make it bad, no matter what others may say. Mine's being delivered as I type this.

I see lots of pros and cons for every current iPhone. It just comes down to what works for each person. If they had given the SE all the features of the 6S, I'd have absolutely nothing to think about. It'd be a no brainier decision for me.

True. I think I might could let go of 3D Touch if they gave the screen brightness and quality a boost.

No issues with my phone fitting in my pocket. I'm 6'3".

Faster? No. Better battery life? Debatable.

SE is a joke.

Jeepers, lighten up. And not everybody is 6'3" and even some who are don't care for a larger iPhone. I'm actually very pleased to see the OP has these good things to say about the SE because I am getting one for my daughter. And eventually for my mother-in-law. It's good to know not everyone got the dreaded yellow screen.

for some reason i like the display better on the SE than the 6.

In fact I think the same and surprisingly found the display of my iPhone SE to be more bright and even than that of nearly 10 iPhone 6 and 6s, compared side by side at maximum brightness in two Apple Stores and Mediamarket stores.

I also owned an iPhone 6s for some weeks.

If you look carefully at most iPhone 6, 6s displays they somewhat fade from bottom to top.
You can notice this more opening a white page (or a totally empty mail massage) and rotating the phone by 90 degrees. You'll instantly view the uneven brightness.

I saw one phone that was nearly perfect but it was one among 30. It was a rare exception.

Anyway OP, glad

Weird. Works great for me. I guess one trick can't work for everyone. >_>
It might be fingerprints as well. The older touch ID doesn't seem as accurate, in general. My mom has worm fingertips and couldn't ever get touch ID to work (at all) on her 5s. Wheb she upgraded to a 6s it works, but still misses sometimes. She hasn't tried the SE but I imagine it would have the same limits for her as the 5s.

Anyway, for her, even the "better" touch ID isn't good enough; it still fails about half the time.

Well I'm fortunate then. My fingerprints are quite pronounced.

The reason for people on the iPhone 6 to get this phone now is to get on the "S" cycle. It's been well established that the iPhone 7s is going to be the real breakthrough, so ride the SE until that happens. It's a chance to upgrade your tech for another 18 month wait.

You're probably young and/or haven't worked in a field where you do a lot of work with your hands/fingers.

My grandmother had the same issue (never had an iPhone but she could never get her fingerprints dine digitally. They always had to use the old school ink pad and press down very hard).

Anyway I'm getting off on a. Tangent. Sorry. If your tip works for you on sure you're not the only one. I'd read about it before so obviously it's been useful to some folks. :)

I have callouses all over my hands from working with them. I guess I'll go with "young"-ish.

I LOVE tangents!

fingerprint on my SE seems same speed as 6s and on SE phone calling seems faster as on 6s there was slight delay

That's just opposite for me, my 6s reader is blazingly fast but my SE is defiantly slower and sometimes takes 2nd press to open.
