Yet another Windows virus

I witnessed an outrage on our local ABC station WCVB Channel 5. On the 11pm news that did an indepth look at the Sobig Virus. The problem was that they used a large image of an iMac, clearly an iMac. The desktop was Mac OS 9. I'm not sure why the ignorance of the platform that is affected! :(

How vulnerable are we Mr. Anderson?
