If you want me to buy it, you need to show me that it’s really useful… personally, for now the answer is no and the 17e is a very good phone… prob going to buy the 18eAnyone here deliberately going to buy a Folding iPhone please share with us Why ? And $1,000 Extra on top of regular iPhone Pro Max prices allegedly.
While I’m sure there will be glue somewhere, they’re actually screwing them together 😉You know they are just Glueing together two iPhone Airs, Same camera trade offs, dual thin batteries.
who cares. It’s not your money that will be spentWhy wouldn't somebody in the market for a new iPhone at least consider it?
So instead of getting ~50% off the 18PM you're just going to buy a whole new device that costs twice as much without trading anything in? Oh Apple LOVES you.
Yeah, I think that's staying a fever dream. They're not putting macOS on an iPad, let alone an iPhone!Day-one preorder for me. Live the idea of being able to fit an iPad mini in my pocket and use as a phone or iPad. The killer feature would be if it’s connected to a keyboard and mouse runs MacOS. One device for everything.
really don't want to get anything thicker at this point
A lot of people seem to be very invested in Apple failing somehow. But this is not a big change from a couple decades ago.who cares. It’s not your money that will be spent
The iPhone Pro Max is already the same price as the base MacBook Pro if you upgrade the storage. The iPhone Fold is shaping up to be as pricey as a MacBook Pro. Yikes!
This is such a rage bait post and thread. None of these things have been confirmed nor are they facts, going off rumours and analyst positions is not a good way to live nor is it a good way to base your purchasing decisions.
I very much doubt Apple will release an iPhone that starts over $2000 USD.
Yep, iPhones are not the affordable option for getting into the Apple ecosystem. iPads, bar the base model, are not a particularly cheap option either. The iPhone Pro Max is already the same price as the base MacBook Pro if you upgrade the storage.
Remember, the top of the line iPhone already is $1999 for 2 TB.
I bought a used Pixel Fold for the 'experience points', and for me, although it's a neat party trick, it's not something I find sufficiently useful to pay Apple rates for. (this thing is fat and heavy as well)Anyone here deliberately going to buy a Folding iPhone please share with us Why ? And $1,000 Extra on top of regular iPhone Pro Max prices allegedly.
Sorry but you appear to not understand what folding phones have cost. Samsung's first folding phone introduced almost 7 years ago, listed for $1980 in Sept 2019. Expecting Apples 2026-7 Fold to be noticeably cheaper is most likely dreaming. 😉Apple is not stupid and will not release a phone with a $2000+ price tag. Pretty sure they learned from the Vision Pro....I don’t understand what smartphones cost these days” is an outlandish and ridiculous comment.
