I'm sorry, I replied but did not quote you.Can you list the “numerous obvious reasons” apart from bigger screen?
The main appeal is that larger screen. I also think the shorter screen is going to be wonderful as well.

Just like flip phones. It's amazing how many of you in this thread don't realize that foldables are the future of the smartphone.
I agree both those features will be impressive, and appeal to a large portion of the customer base. Apple does this sort of stuff better than anyone.I'm sorry, I replied but did not quote you.

Not every consumer wants a foldable iPhone and Samsung has produced them for years now. It's amazing how many of you in this thread don't realize that foldables are the future of the smartphone.
I never said that. I’m saying they are the future. Not that everyone will want one.Not every consumer wants a foldable iPhone and Samsung has produced them for years now.
The future is already here. Samsung and Google has released foldable phones already.I never said that. I’m saying they are the future. Not that everyone will want one.
Apple will revolutionize the foldable market. The future is already here. Samsung and Google has released foldable phones already.
They might be the productivity device of the future but I still believe the Apple Watch is the smartphone of the future: all the communication benefits and none of the addictive weaknesses. Also zero ads. And largely theft-proof with the right strap. I don't want in-my-face glasses, just a device thats there when I need it.It's amazing how many of you in this thread don't realize that foldables are the future of the smartphone.
Meh.It's amazing how many of you in this thread don't realize that foldables are the future of the smartphone.
No lol I am not. It serves no purpose and solves no problem. It will be DOA like their VR headsetAnyone here deliberately going to buy a Folding iPhone please share with us Why ? And $1,000 Extra on top of regular iPhone Pro Max prices allegedly.
SameI'm firmly in the *No Not Remotely Interested* column.
Uh, maybe a different discussion... perhaps a (still expensive) Flip IPhone, like Motorola or Samsung. 😎Uh, no.
Maybe between now and then we'll get a new iPhone Mini of some kind with a screen smaller than 6 inches. Was hoping the 16e would be like that but it's a big old clunker like a regular base model.
A makeshift Apple TriFold??yes i will be getting likely 1TB fold and 1TB pro max to go with it.
