If Apple is planning on recycling a design again, I hope for the 10-year anniversary iPhone next year that they go back to their roots and remake the original iPhone. Update the internals, thinner, and make it come in different sizes. The iPhone 2G is like the Jordan 1's to me. Classic design that still holds up today. First seeing it do multi-touch and Cover Flow blew my mind. That was the last gamechanger event of this saturated and becoming stagnant industry.

I have no doubt that the 7 will be a fantastic phone, but the fact that the rumors point to it being only a small upgrade over the 6s/6s+ combined with the fact that I really enjoy my 6s+ (Best phone I've ever had) just makes me less excited about this one.

I'm almost definitely getting it on launch day, but I'm not "dying to get it", like I would have been in years past.

I agree the 6S Plus has also been my favorite phone ever. I do like to check out the new models but it will have to have some must have feature for me to upgrade.

I am actually more excited for the next Galaxy Note. Though I am not quite ready to break away from Apple, so more than likely I will upgrade from the iPhone 6S to the iPhone 7+.

The concept looks clean. Boring sure, but I will welcome the improvement to battery life and larger screen.

I can't stand the idea of the iPhone 7, becasue I use my audio jack every single day, often multiple times, and going to a bluetooth or non-charging Lightning bridge will be inconvenient and impractical for about ten thousand reasons. The idea of a phone without an audio jack is so repulsive to me, given my personal usage-case, that I plan to buy a 6S+ and nurse it along to make it last as many years as possible. After that, who knows? Maybe the world will have caught up with Apple, and I'll have a bluetooth-capable car with USB jacks. But... I doubt it. In which case, though I hate the very thought, Android is definitely my future.

So... No. I'm not in the least excited about the iPhone 7. Quite the opposite, actually. In my opinion, eliminating the audio jack is one of the dumbest moves in smartphone history. Maybe it'll be back for the 8 or 9?
