When people touch the screen to point to something and leave fingerprints all over the place.
A part of me dies everytime this happens.
Two spaces in-between sentences, rather than one. Like this.
When people touch the screen to point to something and leave fingerprints all over the place.
I can't stand when people...
1. Say iPads or tablets are computers. (Especially when they claim the Surface is a computer. It's not.)
2. Use google for everything without ever considering how it tracks you (seriously, you ARE the product with google.)
3. Claim google doesn't track them(Those people haven't even read eh privacy policy)
4. Use internet explorer(It's freaking 2014. Use Safari or Firefox or something else. Not chrome.)
5. Claim they know more about tech than you, yet know 0 coding languages, and can't fix a computer issue on their own(Serously, stop trying to look cool or smart.)

I have a lot of pet peeves, especially when the teacher is using their computer on the projector.
Some of these things shouldn't bother me because it isn't my computer, but they do bug me, so they're listed for that reason.
- When a teacher is using an obviously dated laptop with low memory, a new operating system and 10 open programs and 20 open Internet browser tabs, then complain about it being slow. I had a teacher who did this last year.
- People who don't organize files on the desktop into folders. In other words, a very messy desktop.
- Extreme fans of any company, be it Apple, Microsoft or Linux. (Linux isn't a company, but whatever.) They bother me because they put me/others down for my/their choice of system, like I'm/they're not allowed to use it. So what I like Windows? My choice doesn't affect you! It works well, thank you very much. If it makes them happy, I have three Macs.
- People who say tablets/phones aren't computers. Though they aren't classified as, referred to as or advertised as such, they are computers. Computers are devices that process and store data, most commonly known as running applications and saving files. Isn't this what tablets and phones do?
- Computer applications that display advertisements.
- When people try to dictate my next purchase with a computer for ANY reason. I know what's the best choice for me and I like to be left to it. If they give me tips, that is okay, it's when they try to persuade me to get something that bothers me.
Omg, this has PERSISTED for so long on the web & drives me crazy:
When you go to enter your email & password on a site you haven't been to for a while, you forget your password so you click "send me my password" & it asks you to enter your email address!
Hello, I JUST entered it!!!! Why not use that data to propagate this field, instead of making me retype it. Umm.... exactly NONE of us forget our email addies. Passwords... sure. After all, some sites require a six letter one, some an eight, some caps, some numerals, etc. it is perfectly logical that we forgot which one we used on your site, stupid Mr. Webmaster.... but I can ASSURE you, I did not forget my email. I typed it in correctly the first time before accidentally typing the wrong password & I'm already annoyed over that, so you clearing my perfectly typed email address away the moment I click "send me my password" seems moronic beyond bounds.
How about just use a password app to remember your passwords.
That's funny. When I went to school, the teachers never new how to operate the video player. They would always mess it up. Seems like teachers always know less than the kids when it comes to technology!
