i have been reading post about fitting notebooks on school desks, backpacks, and starbucks. so i wonder how many are on here who are older professionals. type in your screen size and vote.

25, network engineer, 13" w/ssd, but i connect it to 2-24" monitors in each of my offices using a matrox head2go.. so, having a super portable mbp is perfect for me.

Oh, also I use dropbox + a nas for "media" and critical docs when I need it

I'm 27 now but I was 23 when I bought mine so I picked 23. It's no longer my primary computer.

42 with a 15" MBP. Even us old folks carry our computers in backpacks & work at coffee shops.

no offense intended. i go to starbucks daily. if you are asking college students and younger people what laptop to pick most are not going to pick a 17, i guess, based on other posts, they dont fit on the desk.

Don't you think 'Over 35' is rather limited? Most Professionals still have another 25 years of work left!

24 (25 this year) with a 15 inch high resolution.

I'm just about to finish uni and will be using the computer in a professional environment doing any audio work that I can get my hands on.

I am 17 and have a 15" MacBook Pro. Got my first one when I was 14 (going into high school). Now on my second MacBook Pro (got it when I was 15, only a year after my first one because Apple damged the first one while in repair).

My daughter is 30 so that makes me pretty old. I just bought our first mac.
Picked up a 17 inch mbp for the wife. Next I need something smaller for travel will probably get a base 13 mbp, don't want to drag the 17 all over. Hopefully this fall I will replace my desktop with an iMac and have an all mac house and be rid of pc's.
