mail in service was only offered in the US not in canada...which sucks

Umm, do you have a hard time paying attention? In your OP, you wrote that they made an exception for you for mail service, but now you're reverting to mail service not being an option. So, remind me again why you're saying mail service isn't an option for you?

From your OP:
after multiple calls in the past couple months, i managed to talk to a supervisor and the best he could do was offer a mail in option for me, even though it wasnt avaialble in canada, he could make an exception, which i suppose is better than nothing.

Use and spelling of "spoilt" is correct:
spoilt
(spoilt)
v.
A past tense and a past participle of spoil.

You, however, are referring to Wheat when you use the word "Spelt".

"u" is a letter, "you" is a word; "ur" is two letters, "your" and "you're" are two words with very different meanings.

Seriously though OP, being able to clearly articulate a question and communicate, in an unambiguous fashion, will serve you well in all aspects of life. After all, it's the way we humans interact with each other, all day, everyday, be it verbal or written.

Something that works well for me in life is my willingness to be forthright about what I'm trying to achieve. In your case, if you're trying to get a new MBP from Apple because yours is spoilt by feces, then state that as the question. Maybe the responses to your previous post regarding that issue were unsatisfactory, maybe you're trying to get a direct contact/phone number to a sympathetic Apple service person, I certainly can not tell anymore what your goal is as you continue to dismiss all reasonable suggestions for a solution to your perceived/stated issues.

No one here is going to be able to help you unless you're clear about what you are trying to achieve, i.e. "I need a phone number to a sympathetic Apple service person that will send me a new computer because mine is ruined by feces."

When i first bought my 15 mbp i also bought an incase hard shell case for it. My mbp came before the case so i left it in the box until the case did. First thing i did when i took the macbook pro out was put the case on, when i put the case on the hinge would make a crack noise every time i opened the lid. The cracking noise would stop when i press down on the black part of the macbook pro, suggesting that there is something wrong with the mbp's hinges or something. Was like what the ****, since apple stores sell incase hard shell cases, and they wouldnt sell that product in the store if all incase shells made macbook pro's hinge have cracking noises (where the problem would be pinned on the case not the macbook pro). And because the noise stopped once i pushed down the black part of it, and it was misaligned from the silver part of the mbp, it seemed like it was the mbp's fault.

Worried as ****, i went scheduled an appointment with the only available apple store that night (4th closest one to me). Brought the problem to attention to one of the genuises, he took my case put it on one of their mbp's, no crack, took a new case, put it on their macbook pro, no crack, took their new case put it on my mbp, there was a crack noise. His solution: they will open up the macbook pro, try to realign the hinge, and problem insists, offer an exchange for a new macbook pro. He also said this was very strange and it was the first time he's seen this problem.

Went next week, problem couldnt be solved, and was offered an exchange. I exchanged it, and got a new macbook pro (this one had scratches and stuff on it too). Same problem.. So this time, instead of wasting my time by going to apple store, i called apple and after alot of explanation talked to a supervisor, he felt this was weird too, but understood my problem, and said that because its over the phone theres nothing he could do but schedule an appointment at apple store for me.

So my appointment is at another apple store, but this genuis was very ignorant and won't even hear out my logic about how it doesnt make crack sounds when i push the hinge down, but he blamed it on the case hitting itself which is making the noise, but if that was the case why would it stop making a crack sound when i am pushing down on the part of my macbook pro that ISNT touching the case? so the guy just tells me to leave basically and ignores me from there..

When i get to the parking lot, I am furious about how i had to wait so long to be acknowledged after signing in for my appointment and not being listened to about my problem. So i called up apple, told the guy my problem, said i wanted a refund because i don't want to deal with this problem anymore, the guy offered me a refund or an exchange. Because i really liked the mbp, i went with the exchange and decided to return the case as well. i dont intend to ever find out if this macbook pro will crack or not.

Watered down version: you can get a new macbook pro if you do it through an "Exchange" rather than some applecare replacement thing but it has to be within the time frame and purchased from apple.

I need a phone number to a sympathetic Apple service person that will help me with my issueing a replacement so i can be happy with the 2000 dolla investment i saved up for

wow long but interesting story! did you speak to someone in customer relations or just called the regular number?

You do realize that Apple notes their system, right, so I'm guessing the generous customer service agent who authorized mail-in for you initially noted the system. Now, on subsequent calls, agents will see your history, etc so each subsequent call, you may find it harder to get an outright replacement since the history shows Apple has offered you a solution that you've refused to take instead you're opting to keep calling back still asking for a replacement.

Time to put on your big boy pants and either try the mail-in option, save up money to get on a bus or live with it.

first 2 times was from applecare support i believe, last time i called specifically to ask for a refund (whoever i may have been talking to) and yes on all the times i was on the phone they have read my history about exchanging a macbook pro, and going to geniuses to try to fix my issue

The KEY difference is, unfortunately in your situation, you went through a few instances where you let Apple try to fix vs the OP here who refuses to let Apple try and fix and just wants an outright replacement.

*sigh* :(

"I need a phone number to a sympathetic Apple service person that will help me with my issueing a replacement so i can be happy with the 2000 dolla investment i saved up for"

...help me by issuing a replacement (computer). Perhaps then, I can be satisfied with my choice of spend $2,000.00 on a depreciating asset.

What is going to happen when Apple gets your MBP, opens the box and the smell of poop comes out?

i know, not major issues but hey, 2000 dollar machine, u wouldnt buy a new car with a scratch on it right? lol

You have said this ^^

However, you also said that at first when you noticed the scratch you did accept it and did not take the computer back. So you did buy a new machine that was defective and you accepted. Then after the time period had passed for a free return you took it back.

Does not make any sense, if i bought a $2000 machine and it came with a scratch on it, it would be going straight back that day.

which i dont want to go through

That's because even if they "fix" whatever is, or more likely isn't, wrong with it, they won't be able to get rid of the poopy smell.

u honestly beleived the poop situation? LOL

i called apple customer relations and the guy said that he will look into getting a replacement. no gurentees but i will let u know the final verdict.

Im pretty sure all your posts are BS. So unbeleivable.
And if its true i hope you DONT get a replacement. You seem like a whiny little girl.

The whole poop situation seems much more believable than anything else you say.

In no way should you get a new laptop; getting it repaired is debatable, but for sure not a replacement.

near the end did u call applecare or the store?

I never called apple store, first two times was apple care, the third i called the apple number to get a REFUND, for my mbp that i got off of apple. I dont think he was an "Applecare" guy but rather a guy that dealt with online orders. I think i've gotten the replacements only because of their replacement/exchange policy. Thats why i always think it is best to buy direct from the source when you can.

just to let everyone know

i got in touch with a customer relations rep,

and there issueing a brand new replacement 15inch macbook pro, and even slaped in a anti glare screen upgrade :D

patients have paid off

thanks you all for those of you with the positive comments!
