They have added nothing new to the watch in years, and now they're redesigning it just for the sake of redesigning it.

If they wont redesign people will say, well X series and still the same old and boring design that's lazy. They can't win this.

Yup. Round watches are traditional and should be kept that way. Square design for smart watch is the only way. Apple really nailed it.

I was initially bummed by this but then remembered that I haven’t bought a new band in a few years, and I only have maybe a half dozen of the things at most in varying states of wear.
