BTW...Quick question

What resolution are you guys saving/uploading your pics for this thread? I figured mine would come out a bit larger, and in a bit better condition...but that's not to be:confused:

I'm saving them with PS as a 1024x768 shot and using the paperclip (attach) in the "Reply to Thread" editor...always been curious, is there a better way?

Thanks;)

J

I save the same size as you and upload to Flickr. Then I use their embed code on "original size" so that the EXIF data is easily viewable. You're uploading to the site and they resize a thumbnail for viewing. If you click your thumbnail it will show full size but if you upload to another site and use the image insert it will show up inline full size.

As beautiful as Toronto and Vancouver are (and Montreal too), I'm biased towards my wonderful home city of Calgary, AB.

All taken on an iPhone 4.

Very cool thread. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Calgary as well. I think this place was called Olympic Park?

Calgary Tower was pretty cool too.

August 1985. This is the skyline I grew up with, and will always remember. Every morning on my walk to school, I'd always make time to look at the Manhattan skyline, and just revel in the size of it all. I guess that's why I became an architect.

More recently. Something's missing.

Hello photographers

I am an elementary science teacher and I teach science through digital photography.

Would anyone be interested in donating a photogragh(s)? This would be for an ipad application. Your copyright will be displayed on the photograph. If you choose to submit a photograph you agree that you are the owner.

If you are an ipad owner I have a few promo codes.

Thanks for your help in this educational endeavor.

Ok my city does not really have a skyline, but we do have a shoreline and a lakeside....

Double post...please remove this one.

Yet Another of Boston

I shot this one from my roof in the North End. That's the downtown/financial district skyline with the Old North Church steeple in the foreground.

Since this thread is revived, I'll post mine:

It's watermarked from when I used to use my own server for image hosting, and I'm too lazy to find the unwatermarked one :p
