your computer restarted because of a problem

Since one week I get the ' your computer restarted because of a problem ' message everytime I start up my computer.There is no extra info on the screen.

Everything else works.

In Safe mode the problem is gone. So I think it's a software issue, anyone else having this ? I'm running a 2017 27inch imac so I can't upgrade to the newest software

It might be a bad drive or a corrupt install. Hardware or software, it's difficult to tell.

what about other software that's on your machine? Are you using any cracked software programs downloaded from pirated websites? Are you using any unsupported software, or any unique tools or utilities?
