I would say it's the iPhone of cars because there are a lot of cars that could describe Apple products.
The GT-R is the iPhone of cars because you don't have control over a lot of things and the electronics control a lot of the driving experience. But, it is an amazing experience driving it still.
Where the Ferrari F40 is an amazing vehicle despite its age just like the old Mac Pro.

Congrats! I've had my 2011 SCAB for almost 2 years now and it is by far the best vehicle I've owned to date.

I'm 2-4 years away from having any one of the "attainable dream cars". I technically *could* get one of them right now if I really wanted to, but I just bought a house a couple months ago and my priority at this point is paying off as much of that mortgage as possible, as fast as possible. I'm perfectly content with what I'm driving now (2008 Camry XLE, 40k miles) and I don't feel the need to put myself under more debt at this point. I'll have one of those cars SOME day though.

MP4-12C, the first run with the touch door handles. Can smoke most anything and still rides like a Rolls. I love everything about this vehicle except the price. Should be at least $250,000 cheaper...

I was in the process of restoring my old one, with my dad, (bought it from an older gentleman just outside of Athens, Ohio in 2002). The eventual goal was to do it in yellow with black trim and stripes (Hufflepuff pride, even had custom badges made, still have them -.-) interior had been restored in black.
Sadly a large white tail buck decided he wanted to be in the passenger seat, via the front window. I spun out into the guardrail and trees, completely totaled.
Now, I drive a 3 year old Impala.
