I doubt that iphone can drive those... if youre gonna spend $$$ on some nice headphones you should check out some portable amps. (although Ive been hearing they dont work well with the new iphone)

I'm about to pick up some triple fi 10's for my iphone / laptop when at school etc. Don't want to carry full cans around.

I agree. They can not power them to their max potential. I owned Dr Dre Beatz but returned them for Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. My iPhone can't power them to the full potential either but still...Sennheiser>Monster for headphones. Any recommended amps?

I'm old school with the Koss PortaPros.

Skullcandy Skullcrushers are very nice.. With my music up I cannot hear ANYTHING around me even if my girlfriend is talking loudly right next to the headphones.. these will come in handy on my trip to phoenix

Beats by Dr.Dre Studio headphoens for me.

I got the black and red one, and it matches really well with the iphone!

Sennheiser MM100 Bluetooth headphone. Not so BTy look, works well with music apps, USB charge, quite good mic for calls. I can just hang it from my neck all day and forget about it until I need it. It's next to having speaker/mic implanted in my head. :D

I wish had beats by dre though :( i just can justify paying 3 hundo for some headphones

I have Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10's and Diddy Beats (basically exactly the same as Beats Tour, but they look different). They both produce an entirely different sound (both are very good, just with different approaches) and I take whichever ones that I'm in the mood for each day.

Solo + Bumper

I've got Dre Solos. They also work with the bumper case. Barely. I was thinking of upgrading to the Dre Studio. Does anyone have both and prefer one over the other?

I tried the solo's at the apple store. The studio which I have definitely has a stronger bass and sounds better imo. But I'm no sound expert.

Do the Apple in ear ones have decent bass? I currently use the Bose in ear and the wife keeps snagging them. I like the small size and sound from them. I like that I wouldn't have to carry Bluetooth or switch since I can answer calls with the Apple in ear.

The in ears have ok bass. Not the greatest. I also feel like the farther you shove them in your ears the deeper the bass sounds. Not sure how healthy that is for your eardrums though.

I use Sony Ericsson Stereo Bluetooth headphones and I absolutely love 'em! Above average sound, no wires, and it looks like I'm wearing headphones, and not a douchey BT headset. I can use my phone like normal, put it wherever I want, and never get the wires caught on things.... Win/win/win!

As a side note, I bought them for my 3G and they worked like crap... Always cutting out, and dramatically slowing the OS... On the iP4, they finally work as intended and I couldn't be happier!

I bought my Bose QuietComfort 15's mainly for traveling (I go to Europe often) and they work soooooooooooooo well with engine noise...

I am curious about these new beats by dre pros will sound compared to the QC 15
