Chess. Hands down. Finis. Period. The End.

...then maybe Mah Jong (if that can count as a board game) and Mille Borne (if that can count as a board game) and Monopoly (which is a board game). I have a hard time finding enough people to play long enough to get out Monopoly.

Have you seen or heard of Monopoly playing cards? It's the most fun I had playing any sort of game in quite awhile. I forget exactly what it's called, but I'm sure it's on the official website.

That I'll have to look into. Sounds cool

I love those old Avalon Hill games. My favorite is PanzerBlitz. Finding someone to play against/with is a bit of a challenge.

Played that a couple times with my brother when I was a teenager. Very complicated, but very strategic.

One I used to play alot was HeroQuest. Though with RPG's those fantasy adventure board games don't hold the same interest.

Heck with the Total War games I could not picture playing Risk.
