The martini sounds like its str8 gin drink

Got a Q on the "Get Nude" drink, You use 2% or whole milk

Chundles is a gin drinker

I've had 2 martinis in my whole life. I was just watching M*A*S*H and thought it was a funny quote.

As for that ridiculous 2%, whole, half-fat, non-fat question. When you order a coffee in Australia you have three choices:

- regular (we don't call it 'regular" it's just assumed if you don't stipulate something different)
- skim (you have to ask for it)
- soy (for the lactose intolerants)

Now, in a pub, there is only one option. Regular plain old milk. It doesn't go by any fancy name, if you ask for milk, you get milk. If you ask for skim milk you get a funny look from the bartender and then you get milk.

I don't usually do mixed drinks (or drink much at all, despite what I make it sound like :p ), but if I am going to have a mixed drink, I like a Long Island Iced Tea.

Mixed drinks: Vodka, lime & soda or Jack Daniels with diet Coke

Cocktails: Espresso Martini or a Cosmopolitan :)

Gin and tonic neat is my #1 drink

My new favorite is called a Bitch Slap:

-1 shot Everclear
-1 shot gin
-1 shot rum
-6 oz lemonade
-splash of 7up or Sprite on top

:)

So... who's first at the bar to order all these drinks? ;)

I'm still curious on the Kahlua and milk. How much milk are we talking? Enough for it to be basically an alcoholic milkshake (in which case I might have one as a nightcap) or more like a shooter?

Isn't it your round? ;) (Miss recent big bonus!)

The bottle says: Pour 1.5 parts Kahlua over ice. Fill glass with milk. I guess it just depends how big the glass is!

kahlua and creme is a fairly popular sipping drink here in the states. add vodka and coke to it and you have a "colorado bulldog". pretty tasty with a good kick to boot!

edit: is it obvious i spent quite a bit of time slinging drinks for a living...

Tanqueray.

Tonic.

Lime.

Although a good Bloody Mary now and again is pretty good. There is a place in Chicago - The Twisted Spoke - that makes great ones. I made it a mission of mine to try to duplicate it and I think I got pretty close.

Wow, I think I need to move to Australia. Here in the good ol' US, if you don't specify, you'll likely end up with some 2% crap or such. I can't stand anything other than the full 3.7% or so.

Ooh, yeah, I'd like to know that too. I do enjoy a nice spicy savoury Bloody Mary on occasion.
