You realize you could have just downloaded TextWrangler from barebones directly.

Yeah, I could have. If I knew about it. As I said in my post, it is exactly what the App Store is good at; putting things together in one place so people can find more of what they want / need.

Considering I've bought Angry Birds for the iPhone and iPad, I refuse to spend any more cash on the damn game. I think people who own it for both platforms should get it for OS X for free.

I know right. I already have Madden 11 for xbox 360. When I walk in Gamestop they should just give me the ps3 version for free.

Considering Microsoft and Sony are 2 totally different companies.. no. But Apple is the same company that produces iPad, iPhone, and OSX. So YES. Angry Birds should be a freebie. Actually, it's not all that good without the touch interface. so I'll pass.

On the magic mouse, just tap the mouse...Easier than touch screen as your hand is already on it from "launching" da bird !! :)

the companies are irrelevant, they are two different platforms.

but, if it makes you happy, I could just change my original post to madden on the ps3/psp. No one in their right mind would think that buying the portable version entitles you to the home version for free.

I didn't even know Text Wrangler existed until the Mac store launched. I think that this could be one of the great things about the Mac store, exposure for smaller developers & programs.
