My first and only ipod (still use it everyday) 4gb lime green Ipod mini. It only holds a small amount of songs but I find that a good thing because that means I only have songs on there I actually listen to hehe.

16 gb iPod nano 5g. The good one before they made it a touch screen.
End up selling it for a iPod touch which I'm still using.

A second gen green 4GB nano that my parents got me for christmas in 2006. I had a walkman prior to that, so it was much more convenient once I figured out how it worked. I found iTunes confusing back then, but I can't tell if it actually was or I was just young (I was 12). I still use it as my gym ipod.

mine was the one with the buttons (illuminated red behind) bought it late 2003.
Loved it so much I wondered how cool Apple computers would be and flew to NY from LON and bought my first Powerbook 15" in SoHo in april 2004 just wanted to try garageband iLife 04, amazing time! the iPod introduced me to Apple.
oH yeah back then the US Dollar was really weak and I saved around a grand buying it from the states instead of the UK, got a holiday out of it too and my first chance to see an Apple Retail Store, good times.

Here it is....

Here is my first generation 5 gig firewire powered iPod:

It was later replaced with my 4th generation 20 gig iPod.

And that was replaced with my 16gig iPhone 3g.
And that was replaced with my 32gig iPhone 4.

Interestingly, I found my 20 gig iPod and might try to get it going again - it's in good condition and runs so long as power is connected to it. I could replace the battery and have it running again in no time.

Mine was a silver 3rd generation iPod nano. 4GB. Got it as a Christmas gift years ago. I don't know how I ever thought 4 gigs was enough space! Then again, in 6th or 7th grade I wasn't really a big music listener and there were no apps to take up tons of storage space (other than those silly click wheel games. I think I bought a couple of those!) Ahh, good times :)

my first was a 20GB 3rd gen iPod (four buttons above the scroll wheel) in early 2004. that lasted for a long time (had HDD replaced once under warranty) until it finally died (HDD again) and i upgraded to a 32GB 2nd gen iPod touch in late 2008.
i moved to iPhone land with the release of the 4, and now i have a 64GB iPhone 5.

As yet I have never owned an ipod - still mainly using CDs at home.
However I have got to listening to the music on my ipad so am considering getting either the new touch or nano to use when I don't want to take my ipad with me.

Just found my old 2nd gen touch, which was my first iPod. Good lord iOS 4.2.1 feels almost ancient now.

ipod shuffle, 2nd generation.
Up until that point I swore I would never buy Apple products. Then I saw the 2nd gen shuffle and it's potential for use at the gym and the rest is history. Since then I've bought iPod Touch 3rd gen and iPod Nano 6th gen.
