Alright lets hear it what was your first time? I was a young lad. Age 6. I wish I started younger. I walked into my first grade class and I saw the teacher playing with kid pix. She waited for everyone to sit down then showed us the computer we would be spending out free time on. Kid pix is still the best thing ever made for a computer.
I was nine, she was twelve. Her name was Lisa. I seem to remember something about floppy discs and a deck of cards.. but the details are fuzzy. One thing I'll always remember is putting the thingy in the slot, and then Lisa began to purr.
So epic... +1 for you good sir! Well my first time was back in 6th grade, the shiny all-in-one white ones with a chrome Apple in the middle of the CD drive
I don't have anything to clever to say, but my first time using a Mac was around 8th grade when I bought a used eMac, running 10.2.8. I liked that computer a lot, and kind of wish I still had it.
lol 2002, 7th grade. I got to help edit the opening to my school morning news program with iMovie. It was exciting at the time.
I don't remember my first time... Although I know we used macs at my elementary school when I was 6, so unless one of the earliest computers we had at home was a mac (which I doubt, since my parents really dislike them), it was probably around then.
This is actually my second time... stumbling upon a thread with this exact topic. The first one was fun, so I'm sure this one will be entertaining as well.
My friend bought an iBook when he was a jr. in high school. I was a freshman. It blew my mind. Then I got my own macbook before college. w00!!!!
