is there any browser that allows you to swipe between tabs the same way you can in chrome for iOS?

I really wish Safari was on Android, so I end up using Firefox (which is ok) seems pretty pretty buggy at times and freezes. Chrome I can not stand, Dolphin I tried also which seems pretty nice (also buggy at times however)

Habit browser. Try it. I absolutely love it. Surprised no one else has yet to mention it.

I hate Chrome simply for the fact that it doesn't have a dedicated bookmarks icon.

For mobile, Opera Mini as of late because the Wi-Fi connection can be very slow in the mall at 1Mbps or lower. Opera Mini seems very speedy at slower speeds. Plus my HTC One's stock browser gets a bit weird where it doesnt always load the page sometimes. Used Opera Mini since my Nokia N82 days from 2008 and still works like a charm. If you have a mobile data plan limit, it is great at saving you usage at 70-90%. I used to use Safari on my iPhone.

For desktop, Firefox and Chrome. Despise Internet Explorer in both desktop and Windows Phone.

It used to be Firefox but it's so slow to start up that I now just use Chrome. I see a lot of hate directed at Chrome for being laggy but I've not noticed that at all. My only issue with it is the funky text resizing it does sometimes.

I'm afraid I'm quite boring. I use safari on iOS and the stock Samsung browser on my android devices. I have tried other browsers like firefox, chrome, opera and dolphin but I prefer the stock browser. Firefox is rather disappointing as I use that on my laptop and its great.

I use Chrome on my iPod Touch 5th Gen since I already use Chrome on my MacBook Air so I can access my bookmarks and browser history.

I use Dolphin and Chrome. Firefox now and again.

Just set up my new iPad yesterday and it was such a simple thing to download Chrome and have all of my bookmarks magically appear. Meanwhile, I am having to manually input all my links into Safari. No option to import bookmarks from Chrome? No option to browse as a desktop client (so have to use mobile viewing on certain websites. uugghhh) Having to swipe, swipe, swipe to get to the bottom of a short website. Seriously annoying Apple!!

For me it's the default browsers on both, Safari on my iPhone and Chrome on Android devices (I tend to go for stock Android handsets like the Nexus range and Motorolas which have that rather than the 'android' browser). I find them both good for my usage, also like the integration/syncing between devices with the same OS.

I should amend my response. I now use Chrome on my phone (Moto X now) and I still go to Chrome for most stuff on my MBP. Chrome syncs to Chrome regardless of OS.

Chrome on Android and IE 11 metro on W8. I think that right now IE is the best touch browser hands down, very smooth and has built in flash support.

Do any Android browser feature swipe back and forward gestures like Safari? One thing I really miss about my iPhone and wish my a note 3 had. Having to reach down to the back button is very annoying.

I don't think so, but you're right I love that feature on my Windows 8 tablets with IE 11.

That's definitely something I agree with. Its so smooth even on clovertrail.

As mostly everyone else, my go to is always Chrome. It syncs my data, it's quick, and what I need in a browser.

I believe Dolphin has gesture support.

On the subject of the Nav Buttons being hard to reach, I use Button Saviour (Non Root) on my S4. Saves me from having to stretch my fingers too much.

I would like to hear opinions of Next Browser. The UI looks slick, but I can't tell hoe it performs or what its limitations might be.

First choice is Chrome, second is the latest rev of Opera it's fast smooth and useful.
