I seem to have another and entirely different problem. Simply put I don't have one. I suspect this is due to apple not producing enough of these units and so leaving only one method to get one on an o2 contract where I live: To go down to a shop I can't get to at a time I can't possibly make. I guess some things in life are more important than getting a brand new iPhone. Either that or i'm too damn lazy.

Can we try to spread this thread to other threads regarding iPhone 4 problems. I do believe that this will be very helpful for others. Lets try to keep this alive:)

Mine seems perfect so far. Only issue I had was the iPhone would not activate in the mall but finally did once I turned airplane mode on and off.

Phone seems 100% perfect. That may change once I actually start using it.

Pretty impressed

Battery life noticably better than 3GS
Using it with the bumper and it feels so much smaller than the 3GS with a case on

IOS4 seems a little slow in places (same with the 3GS).

Although I can replicate the antenna issue I can also do the same with the 3GS but just using the iph4 at work at my desk with the 3GS I was getting one bar or no signal iph4 is showing a steady 2bars.The office I work in is notorious for poor reception

Took me a little while to get use to the warmer screen tone (compared to ipad and 3GS) but it's much less harsh and looks more 'paper like' than other LCD displays and of course the resolution is superb

Not sure about having a glass back makes it less durable IMO

Problem is the ipad now looks blurry in comparison

Questions for those using a bumper:

Does it slip into your pocket easy enough with the bumper on it?
Is the bumper a silicone case with lots of traction, or some other material?

I haven't dared put it in my pocket with the screen unprotected after i saw the mess my 3GS got in to! (And i make sure that my iphone is the only thing in my pocket) But I would guess it wouldn't slide so easy : /

The bumper is rubber with plastic (above where the actually stainless steel band is), the rubber is what holds it on and gives it a bit of height so that when you place it on a table, the rubber touches the table...not the glass of the phone :)

:D

Got my iPhone on launch day from my local Apple Store. Had it reserved...Didn't wait too long, although it dragged in cause I just wanted the phone in my hand! lol. Was actually worried that I'd get home, open it and it'd have a yellow screen (only issue i was aware of at the time) but I checked the screen against a white background and saw nothing but white :)

Activated in iTunes about 2 hours after purchase. Everything was working fine! I had to wait a couple of hours to get a hold of a micro-sim but my old sim transferred over to the micro-sim no problem within 20 minutes and that was me up and running :)

When I heard bout the reception issues (I hadn't really been paying attention to signal) I decided to test it and I'm getting full bars on GPRS/EDGE/3G while not touching the phone, and even having my hand covering the left hand side, (tbh it decreased one bar...but whatever, whocares!) the signal was still going strong! I put my bumper on, and have had nothing but strong signals :) I only take the bumper off so it'll fit in my old 3GS case.

So 100% iPhone 4 here :)

Original phone had yellow screen, prox sensor issue. Exchanged in store for new phone. That phone has no issues.

The only issue I had was when using Safari. It would time out and say it couldn't connect to the server. I reset the network settings and that seemed to have solved the issue. Oh, and I did have full bars and 3G when this happened. :D

Other than that..................
No dropped calls
No "reception" issues
No camera issues
No yellowing screen issues.
