My Wk 38 is fine. A little buzzing under heavy load, the glass the back do have a tiny lip, the screen is slightly warmer than the iPhone 6 it replaced, but guess what - it works, it looks good and I'm happy.

My matte black 128GB 7+ and my wife's rose gold 128GB 7+ haven't arrived yet. HURRY UP VERIZON.

My moms rose gold 32GB 7, my dad's silver 32GB 7 and my sisters matte black 128GB 7 arrived about 2 weeks ago and they are all just fine.

My guess is you'll get about 80% yes and 20% no, simply based on the fact that people are more vocal about complaints than they are about praise. Additionally, the membership here seems to be filled with complainers and folks who like to nit-pick. Anyway, the members here would skew the sample negatively.

Depends on how you much care. Ive seen 10+ 7 plus had all bad screens like yellow tint, darker bottom and blue tint on the side

Both matte 7 plus received are great with no issues.
A few software bugs were straightened out via iOS updates.
Really happy with my new phone.

mine hisses on heavy load, has a slightly uneven screen toward the bottom, 3 tiny black spots appeared at the back for no apparent reason (mine's a gold finish) but I'd say overall it is fine. None of these issue affects my daily usage at all.

    • My 7Plus Black 256GB = Perfect, no problems so far (touch wood!)
    • My GF's 7Plus RoseGold 256GB = fast draining battery, intermittent non-response in touchscreen that lasts 30secs or so, lag in receiving iMessages
GF has updated to iOS10.1 today, will give it 5 days to bed in and see how it goes - if it doesn't get to 'perfect' status by the beginning of next week, it will be taking a trip to the Apple Store for a replacement.

I was looking at iPhone 7s and comparing screens, my 6 is "cooler" for sure and brighter. I then came across a screen that I thought WOW, this one JS super bright and the perfect tint, to blue or yellow....it was a 6S Plus.

Easy to see the differences, I just hope Apple can do a software fix to adjust the display temperature and brightness.

My first 256gb RG 7+ had a bad hissgate and bad yellow screen. I exchanged it at Apple and so far just a little hissgate but I don't feel like exchanging it again. I'll deal with it until next year's iPhone.

    Those could be software issues.
Tell your girl to restore it using itunes and setup as new phone.
Older devices and older iOS backup files can carry over bugs to the new device and new OS.
I dont think receiving imessages late would have anything to do with the hardware itself.
