iPhone 13 “Your iPhone Preorder has expired”

Contacted Apple about the preorder prep issues. This is what they say:

Agent's Message: I totally understand you , as i can see indeed the Ready to Pre order process that we have online to save a bag and apply it on Friday at 13:00 is not available at the moment due to the massive bags that have been applied so far. The Ready to pre order process is just a saved bag that you fill in your details and at 13:00 on Friday, once you will join you can complete the checkout. In that case the best option for you is to check the website tomorrow in order to pre order directly or contact us back tomorrow , in order to assist you once the pre order will start.

yikes... guess this is a little taste for what tomorrow will bring
 
I gave up with the rep, its clear volumes are crazy high for pre-approval so they have disabled it but not really told anyone. tomorrow will be fun!

But when I go in the app (and I have a confirmation email and everything saying I was approved), it shows my device under preorders and on the “For You” tab, it shows my iPhone is ready for preorder on the 17th.

Anyone else getting this error when checking their pre-approved iPhone order? Hopefully just a bug.

edit: When I check my order on Apple’s website, it shows my preorder there. So it’s likely a bug on the Apple Store App, I assume.

This what happened when I tried smh I think it’s unfair if there’s a limit to it but hey Apple right lol
 
Yup, same thing for me this morning. And that’s how I found this thread, so I feel a little better seeing it s most likely a glitch.

Yea but it’s unfair they are Apple that’s pretty much telling people “ the supply will now be lower because of this “get ready” crap!! A lot of people are human be spamming refresh only to be disappointed because most of them are going out to these “get ready” people and that’s wrong

I think it’s people picking and choosing like 5-6 phones and saving them cause they’re unsure so that’s causing a surge in their servers. Regardless tomorrow needs to be here already 🥲

I am not disagreeing with you mate, maybe they had a set amount for pre-approval and then a set amount ready to just be done tomorrow if you get what i mean. who knows tbh, its apple. they do what they want lol

Pretty much but I wanna know if they are gonna let us preorder smack dab right at 12am cause that would be awesome my birthday is tomorrow lol
 
Mine is doing the same. Hope it doesn’t affect the Barclay’s Loan pre-approval too. The glitch seems to be exclusive to the Apple Store App. If you go on the Apple website in a browser, the selected iPhone shows just fine.

If this glitch isn’t fixed by tomorrow I’d probably recommend having the Apple store app open as well as the Apple website in Safari/Chrome etc. If one gives out then the other should hopefully come through.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR TOMORROW!!! Normal pre-orders will still be live tomorrow, anyone who has pre-approved still isn't guaranteed the phone. We still have to go on and actually order it mate. good luck getting the one you want and have an awesome birthday!

That’s what I always do 🤣 Mac will be on the website and phone at the ready for the app! I also contracted Apple he said my order is fine on their side but the app is “under maintenance “ so everything should be fine. Hope everyone gets what they want
 
When i check the apple app it says my preorder has expired but on the apple website it’s still there. I contacted apple and they said that since it was t an official preorder i would have to buy it over but i used an Apple Card and they already took the money out. So how would i be able to purchase again if i already used my card. Smh

bit of a strange one, I've been told I don't need to go now and complete pre order tomorrow, because it has already been processed...
