13"MBP because of the portability. Plain and simple. I didn't need dedicated graphics, nor a huge screen. I use an external occasionally when I need more screen real estate.

I have the 15" MacBook Pro, but I'm seriously considering selling it when the MBP's are next updated and buy a 17" MacBook Pro with a matte screen.

I wish I could take the 17" for a test drive and see if I could handle the weight and size on the road.

I would love to have a bigger screen, but the price kept me in the 13" range The price on that new 15" looks tempting though.. I need a job haha

+1 for me. I love my 15. Its still portable and large enough for me to work on my photography. I think the 17 is a bit to large.

I think the White macbook is an impressive machine, but I can't help but think of it as sort of a gateway drug. The $999 gets you in the store, and for an extra $200 Apple gets you to walk out with a slightly faster machine, with all the aesthetics of the pro (unibody, sd slot, backlit keyboard, led display, trackpad), etc.

then you drop it a week later and wish you had a white book...

17" with 1920x1200 resolution is a must have fore me! i need true HD and this is the only true HD model that outputs in 1080p.

nothing beats the sexyness of a true HD 17" 1920x1200 screen period.

This. And matte. Oh, and 8-hr battery and expresscard.

It was the best choice I've ever made...and I've owned ~ 13 computers in my life.

I'd choose a 17" MacBook Pro with the Matte screen. I would go with the 15" if it had a Matte screen option though.

17" all the way. Unless you're someone who takes flights frequently, the 17" is just as portable as the 15". Definitely worth it.

15" all the way. It's the best of both worlds- screen's not too small, more portable than 17". Same with the price, which is not as bad anymore with the 1699 15" (I'm getting it tomorrow even with the 10 day wait!!!) All in all, that's what I'd get.

Had my Macbook Pro 13 for 2 weeks now. Best Laptop I have ever owned. Sort of wishing I had waited for iMac price cuts and got one of them.
