Just buy the Vinegar extension and you’ll have PiP and ad free YouTube across all of your Apple devices. Best $2 I spent on the App Store.

Maybe spend some of that $ on the people that make the videos you watch.

...Android has had YouTube PiP for a while now, being a platform exclusive.

Frankly, I'm surprised they even brought it to iPhone, at all.

The majority of employees probably use iOS, and they enabled the feature mostly for themselves.

You don't need googles mercy, just use youtube in Brave Browser and add the video to the playlist PiP will automatically work

Day before yesterday I canceled my premium membership because pip stopped working and I emailed them explaining why. I got an email back yesterday saying it was coming soon. I didn’t expect it to come this quick. Hopefully before my membership expires so I can keep it.

PiP YouTube worked on the beta of iOS 14 and then Google took it away. It’s worked on my iPad since iOS 14 through Safari the whole time, except that for the past couple weeks it’d started glitching.
