Im paying for premium but because I'm not in the US I Can't get PIP on my iPhone. Yet other US iPhone owners who don't pay for YouTube premium will get PIP.
Oh is it rolling out to us now? I have premium.I’m in the U.K. and I have it now
But we don't want to. We want to use the app.you can get PiP without the YouTube app.
Why just US?
Sure if that is what you want. just providing options for those who do no wish to wait for Google. But we don't want to. We want to use the app.
There's shortcuts out there. However they ate cumbersome and often stop working.Sure if that is what you want. just providing options for those who do no wish to wait for Google.
I have premium and it doesn't work on my iPhone via the YouTube App. Never has.So us in Uk will need premium for it to work
Not working yet for meOh is it rolling out to us now? I have premium.
Built in feature? This only came to ios (pip) last year. Apple have no business regulating goggle for a feature they copied from android years later.I don't know how Google got away with the fact that they've been charging money for this built-in feature for all this time.
Apple should have regulated them in the first place.
How is it that PIP needs any developer interaction anyway. Can’t Apple just force it so anyone using full screen player on iPhone automatically has PIP functionality. It seems as this should be embedded in ANY video or rather not a developer choiceWhy in the world would this be a US-exclusive feature?
How are people here confusing play audio while locked with picture in picture? They’re not the same thing.I don't know how Google got away with the fact that they've been charging money for this built-in feature for all this time.
Cool thing for the US, but Apple should regulate them everywhere else.

It does not say that it is an exclusive, only that the launch will be U.S., others to follow shortly….Why in the world would this be a US-exclusive feature?
