Personally i have 0 interest on that kind of "solutions", my battery drain is already bad with the youtube app (updated) to try an even worst scenario like Safari+adblocker.

We are talking about an iphone SE here, FGS!.

I knew it worked before I posted it. I’m also not the person here with issues understanding this thread has nothing to do with YouTube. It’s their TV service.

It depends what people are considering when they say value.

Indeed. Say they do something like add NFL network. I'm sure many folks would find that added value. To me it'd be meaningless as I have no interest in NFL football.

There's a limit to how much they can raise the prices and be a value relative to cable company offerings. On the other hand, with YTTV I'm not paying a bunch of added fees and taxes like I was with Comcast. $15 broadcast fee, $9 regional sports fee, then other added fees for additional boxes for other rooms.

I just made a comment regarding the youtube sub service (which is kind of related, not TV directly but was also just a comment) that's all, then you suddenly have users telling you that one is dumb for paying for their sub service and the story goes on an on....sigh.
