Imagine your own platform being so difficult to develop for, that you release on a competitors platform first; Then crying to the government about anti competitive behavior.
Yeah I thought that was pretty funny.
Then I thought that the lack of diversity in Apple hardware is what makes it much much easier.

Market share is simply a measure of cost and availability. The majority of Android users worldwide are choosing it because you can gain access for a fraction of the cost. It has nothing to do with the quality of the platforms.
Your logic framework is inconsistent. Market share can be a factor of cost, availability, preference or quality. I'd imagine your claim of why more buy android is little more than conjecture. There's many reasons such as customization, flexibility, superior multi-tasking to just name a few and cost isn't a reason when it comes to flagship phones.

No, revenue doesn’t necessarily equate to quality but devs are generally going to follow the money, you know, so they can actually make a living. There are endless examples of devs choosing to only develop for iOS because of this fact.

I’ve used both platforms continuously for about 12 years but I’ve generally used an iPhone for my daily driver for most of the duration, for numerous reasons. Right near the top of the list though is because many, if not most of my preferred third party apps either don’t even exist for Android, took years to finally come to the platform or simply aren’t as good as their iOS counterparts. So yes, from a user perspective it is a much better, quality experience.
It's been said before, the average iOS user is more willing to pay for apps/subscriptions - that's in part on average having higher income demographics and in part ignorance (those who have been in the apple ecosystem for a long-time and don't realize the benefits android offers).

To me its sad that so many basic features android has, iOS users have to buy a separate app to experience - and that's true for macOS too.

In my experience there are more apps available on android, more apps which are free or cheaper than their iOS counterpart and of course some apps which are not even available on iOS.

I guarantee your experience is not that of the average user.
