YouTube TV Rolling Out Picture-in-Picture Support for All iOS 15 Devices

The YouTube TV team needs to work on regular YouTube App, asap.

It’s a good step forward but please consider making this for the YouTube app. This should not be a paid feature. $11.99 to take advantage of Picture-in-Picture. Come on ?

You don’t need the app to get PIP. I can get that with safari.

Totally different in this issue there are many things to say: security, future update, certified support, updated Configurator 2.
Instead YouTube simply disabled a features which Apple has created and active by default

Ah, the excuses. Unless you're a major shareholder in Apple stock, you really dont have any good reason to dupe consumers like that. Same logic applies Apple's approach to Right to Repair.

It’s been days and I still don’t see any option for PiP on the YouTube TV app. Updated to latest version and still nothing… nothing buried in settings to turn on either.

PIP on the free YouTube app just started working for me today, June, 13th 2022. Only took 3 months!

I use YouTube every day and it was not working yesterday. It came along with the version 17.23.6 update.

If you want to do Picture in Picture for regular YouTube videos without Premium Subscription (not TV and not Live) they please try an app I wrote called PiP-it.
