If you press back once (without leaving search results) and activate Siri, then cancel Siri, it lets you select text again.A lot of weird things got into the youtube updates recently.
For one if you do a youtube search and watch a video from the search list, you can never edit or get back to the search criteria bar... you have to go all the way out to the main youtube menu and re-select search.
Yes by default Chrome treats ⌘-Q differently than everything else. Hit ⌘-Q and it will pop up a little window that asks you to hold ⌘-Q if you really want to quit. It is a setting you can toggle off if you would like Chrome to behave like every other application.Actually chrome doesn’t and has no feature for it at all.
Only if the webpage has some forms filled out will it ask.
I have to use a script on a page to stop accidentally closing Chrome.
I could have sworn that one of the things your app "can't do" is stop you from exiting the app with a "Are you sure you want to exit?" prompt. Apple wouldn't approve your app if you did that.
Maybe the rules changed and/or I'm wrong, but I can't think of another app that stops me from exiting with a question like that.
I thought the same. And thank God, if so. Windows/Android are FULL of user-hostile exit confirmation dialogs.I could have sworn that one of the things your app "can't do" is stop you from exiting the app with a "Are you sure you want to exit?" prompt. Apple wouldn't approve your app if you did that.

Pluto app does this as wellI could have sworn that one of the things your app "can't do" is stop you from exiting the app with a "Are you sure you want to exit?" prompt. Apple wouldn't approve your app if you did that.

Yes, it bugged me for a month before I found a decent work around!I could have sworn that one of the things your app "can't do" is stop you from exiting the app with a "Are you sure you want to exit?" prompt. Apple wouldn't approve your app if you did that.

Hasn’t happen to me yet, but I am using the latest RC.YouTube's Apple TV app is crashing and causing some issues for users when they try to exit out of the app, according to user reports online.

I have the Apple TV from last year (not the newest, but the next newest), and YouTube premium, and it totally happens to me. So Premium having premium doesn't save you. I'm going to unsubscribe Premium today. No issues using Apple TV 4K (first generation, 2017) and YouTube Premium.
You can actually get back, I've toyed with it a bit. Click back so that it highlights your recent searches, then click the siri button, then click the siri button again to close siri, then you're in the search menu. Youtube needs to stop playing around, they suck at this.A lot of weird things got into the youtube updates recently.

So does Apple. Apple shanks their FW and OSes big time.YouTube needs to find some better developers
