I believe it's the "I want to live longer in Life" mindset (which, unfortunately, becomes increasingly more of a semi-obsessive, daily thought-process for those of use who are approaching the horizon of where our progenitors previous found completion).
Very grateful to not require any medications in my daily life. My genes have expressed rather bad, progressively-worse dental attributes over the years (and my eyes have just plain gone Rogue); but, thankfully, there ain't nothin' wrong with all the rest
In today's Commercial environment, morbidity == mortality. Marketers have glomed-on to tickling the impending fears of those who have passed the Middle, and are facing the End. Fear is a lucrative business for certain segments of our Society.
