YT removed swipe

So YT have decided to remove the swipe feature. This might be a mild inconvenience for those with the latest remote.

But if you have an earlier remote with no d-pad it makes the app unusable. Even the iOS app doesn’t have a d-pad.

Could understand this more if that model of ATV (mines a 1st gen 4k) wasn’t supported by the latest OS, but it is.

i didn’t even have to reinstall. i force quit youtube and relaunched it. works now (it didn’t work when i force quit earlier tonight). they must have deployed a fix
