I have an Apple leather case and there is still a significant gap, what really bothers me is the earpiece and home button cutouts though, on my 5S they were able to fully cut them out, not cut around them.

ThemPelican is two piece. Solid bottom the phone sits in and top tha actually holds the phone down in the case. It lines up perfect with the Zagg

The girl at AT&T did a great job putting the glass cover on.

How is it for fingerprints? The stock screen really gets greasy fast.

It is really greasy when the screen is off and shows a ton. When the phone is on though it is not noticeable. I figure I will keep this until something better comes just because I don't want it scratched in my purse. But I can't wait to get rid of it.

Thanks for uploading the pic, pass for me. Guess I'll just go with a regular film protector for now.

Zagg has done this in the past, when the 5 came out, and maybe the 4 (can't remember). They first release this "case friendly" version that does not cover the screen all the way to the edge. Sure maybe that does make it "friendly" for certain cases, but I think the real reason they do this is because they don't know the precise screen dimensions prior to the phone's release, so can't make a perfect edge to edge one, so they get away with this "case friendly" nonsense.

All you have to do... Keep this one on your phone until they release the "normal" version in a couple weeks. Then go on Zagg's site and request a replacement -- you're allowed to pick a different version for your replacement, so pick the normal version. Only costs $4 for shipping on the replacement. You do have to return the other one within 60 days or they'll charge you for the replacement.

The fact that the 6 has curved glass edges is a different issue. Maybe a lot of screen protectors, especially hard ones, aren't going to be able to go edge to edge (or they won't stick down). I actually think the Zagg HDX wet application one may be the best option for the curved glass. I think it will cure nicely with a slight bend to it. Worked on my iPod classic, which is curved: http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields/123

I was able to return it today to AT&T for a bill credit. I did get a response from Zagg in response to my email to them.

"Thank you for contacting ZAGG my name is (name deleted) and I happy to help you.

I am sorry to hear that you’re dissatisfied with the cut of the InvisibleShield for the iPhone 6. In regards to the edges of the the phone for the 6 its very curved as you may know and so we had to make the InvisibleShield not go all the way to the edge as it wouldn’t stick down and would peel up very quickly.

Let us know if you have any additional questions and thank you contacting ZAGG!

In our on-going effort to always provide World Class Customer Service to our customers, we kindly ask you to please take this short, eight-question, multiple-choice survey. Your feedback is invaluable to us and is gratefully appreciated.

I filled out the survey with the following response.
"I loved the Zagg products I used on my iPhone 4 and 5. I hate the fit of the product on my iPhone 6. In the past I convinced my spouse and mother to both buy Zagg protectors for their iPhones. I will now actively discourage people not to buy your products until you either make a better fitting product for the 6 or refund the hard earned money of the people who purchased it based upon your prior products' attributes. I am heading to Macrumors forum to voice my displeasure with your failure to stand behind your product. I might note that other companies have already issued emails to customers that they will be able to trade their ill fitting 6 screens for better ones. I am sorry Zagg does not value its client base as much as Spigen and Mime do."

So since I started this thread, I wanted to state my personal outcome, if you want Zagg, I guess I would recommend you try the HD since some people say it fits better. If you want a glass screen, I guess I would say I would get Spigen or Mime, because at least they are trying to make a better version.

I ended up saying to hell with it and after leaving AT&T I went to the Apple store and bought AppleCare for the phone. If later a better fitting screen comes along great, I may try it. But until then I will rock a naked screen with insurance.

Please forgive the horrible quality of the photo (taken with an iPad) but it does show the outline of the screen protector and how small it is.

Image

You didn't install it straight!

I have one as well on the iPhone 6 Plus. It's basically exactly the width of the actual LED screen, so it does not go all the way to the edge, but I got it on the phone as straight as possible so it lines up with the screen, and the home button and speaker cutouts have an even amount all the way around.

The curved glass on the sides makes it difficult if not impossible to go all the way to the edge, and then a case wouldn't fit.

I really am not worried about scratches, as the glass on iPhones are quite scratch resistant. I never used a screen protector before, because all the ones I have tried before the Zagg Glass feel like crap and make the image on the screen look like crap. The Zagg Glass feels great, and does nothing to degrade the image.... AND hopefully it will protect the screen from shattering if dropped, as I have seen several drop tests of this phone from under 6 feet that didn't go so well for the phone...

I didn't install it, the manager at AT&T did. And my issue was with the fact that even if it had been installed perfectly, it still barely covers the LCD screen and leaves much of the screen unprotected. If you search you will see many other commentators on this forum, even with perfect installation, are unhappy with the fits of these screen protectors. That being said, I am glad it works for you.

My secondary issue was that Mime and Spigen stated they were revising their design and replacing screens, and Zagg refused to do the same.

Hi I purchased 2 in Maine 1 for my wife's phone which is a 6 gold and it fit fine but my phone is a space grey 6 and the edges won't stick so I went back and talked to him and there's a problem with the one on the space grey and they all don't fit right in that color.

I think this glass by Zagg is amazing. I installed it perfectly on my iPhone 6 Plus and it feels better than the actual screen and the clarity is just as beautiful.

I bought one today for my 6 and the girl at Best Buy installed it perfectly. Agreed that it's not edge to edge but the clarity is beautiful and it does the job. I'm pleased.

I bought the Zagg glass screen protectors for both my 6 Plus and my wife's 6. On my 6 Plus, it fits as perfectly as it can, given the curved edges. It goes all the way out right to where the edges start to curve. On my wife's 6, it's almost a little too big. There is a small gap around the edges where the screen protector doesn't make full contact with the screen. I'm worried that dirt will build up underneath the edge of the screen protector in where the gap is but, otherwise, it is fine. I'm very happy with both screen protectors.

Anybody who is upset with the glass screen protectors not reaching the very edge of the screen has unrealistic expectations. It is a flat glass screen protector on a curved screen. What did you expect? A GLASS piece that perfectly follows the contours of the curved screen of the new iPhones? Sure, it might be possible in the coming months once these companies actually get their hands on real iPhones and can do more research and development but, I wouldn't hold your breath on that. Even if a company does come out with a glass screen protector that follows the curvature of the iPhone screen, it will need to be installed 100% perfectly or you will see air pockets all over the place.

It's nice to see other companies coming out with glass screen protectors honestly. I had a BodyGuardz Pure screen protector on both of our iPhone 5's. It was really nice but I paid $15 more for them than I did the Zagg products and the replacements are not free. Zagg's lifetime free replacement warranty pretty much blows everybody else out of the water.

If you have REALISTIC expectations of what you will get from a flat glass screen protector on a curved glass phone, you will be satisfied with the Zagg screen protectors.

I really am having a hard time understanding what everyone is complaining about with the fit of the new zag glass screen protectors. They are a rigid glass pane. They literally physically cannot go edge to edge since they cannot extend over the curve of the edge just as the email from them above explains.

I had the flagship store near me install mine today, and they do a fantastic job at it. It covers precisely what it is supposed to cover and does it perfectly. I have used Zagg products on all my phones for several years now. The original orange peel effect ones have since given away to the HD versions and now the glass. The glass version imho is superior to the other films they use, such that I have put it on all my devices now. Absolutely love it. If you're looking for something that literally goes edge to edge, then you're probably stuck with one of the wet install versions. The HD version is probably the best option on those. But for a rigid pane, you are not going to get any better than what it is now.

I have realistic expectations and accept that the glass does not go edge to edge. However, I've been through two zagg glass protectors and both of them were fitted perfectly in terms of centering the ear piece and button in the cutouts of the glass. The issue I have is both of these so far are not sticking at the edges. I don't know if it is a bad cut on the glass or if the tolerances are super tight. The first protector developed cracks from the lifting edges getting caught on fabric as I pulled it out of my pocket. Is it true that there is some manufacturing difference between the silver/white phone and space grey/black phones?

Does anyone's zagg glass have what looks like a border that isn't attached to the glass. Around the whole outside it looks lifted off and u can see the color difference.

I had it installed at BBY. It lines up perfectly and when I look at it from the side it looks attached, but the border looks like it's not attached.

Anyone else have this?

Edit: just saw bluez's comment.

Mine is not attached around the corner. It looks pretty bad.

Yeah, mine is like that too, installed it myself. Not sure if it's actually lifted off the glass or just a weird reflection. I've kind of tried to stick my finger under there and I can't really seem to. Plus I would think if it was actually off of the glass it would be a magnet for dust and dirt and mine looks clean.

I've never had a screen protector (always used cases with them built in) but I like it well enough. Sure beats worrying about scratching the screen.

I got mine installeda at BB yesterday as I had some rewards.

The girl did a solid job but I am not sure if its an eye trick but it seems like due to the edge being rounded it is going to raise right off the screen soon.

It isnt lifting but it looks kind of concerning.

I will say it feels amazing and like the actual stock glass so thats a big plus.

Also the oleophobic coating seems to be really good as a simple wipe and its gone and doesnt seem to smear as much as the stock.

Overall very pleased.

I'll have to give it a try. I know people are complaining about ruining the beveled edges of the phone but I always use a case so I don't feel the edge anyways

Saw an iPhone 6+ At costco on display with the Zagg glass installed. Does not cover the entire front but does cover the functional screen (Black portion) which is better then what I received from Spigen SGP T-R.

Anyone got a rainbow reflection on the edge at a certain angle?

It's normal, the light from screen was reflected through the glass to your eye, the glass has several layers and on the edges it shows rainbow colors, but remember it only happened on the edges not the screen, unless you are using 99 cent screen protector.
