Zero 256 Jet BLK 7+ delivering 9/16?

I'm starting to wonder if any 256gig jet Black 7 pluses are set to deliver in 9/16.
If anyone has evidence of this phone scheduled for release day I'd like to see it.
I'm convinced that Apple knew they could not deliver this phone and did not give those of us who ordered it an opportunity to make an informed decision when ordering. I would have been happy to go with Black if it meant getting my phone on 9/16.
 
I'm in total agreement. I pointed this out just a few hours after the pre-orders opened. I had my order done literally less than 30 seconds after the Apple Store app went live, and I got "Ships in 1-2 weeks" with a a Sept 26 - Oct 3 delivery range.

After a couple hours of seeing nobody post a 9/16 ship date for their JB7+, it became pretty clear that they're simply going out for release day. It's particularly disappointing because this is the iPhone Apple has chosen on their website and in their product advertising as "the" iPhone that exemplifies this current generation of iPhones. Heck, on Apple's own website, if you click the "iPhone" section, it brings up a big picture of an iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black with the words "Available September 16" above it. Yet, it's looking like none will actually be in customers' hands on September 16.

Obviously not the end of the world, but still disappointing as a long time Apple fan who stayed up till quite late to plunk down a grand on Apple's latest and greatest.

I agree, I don't think there are any. But some on ebay claim it, but haven't seen any proof.

And actually looking through them, don't see any confirming launch day delivery either.

I don't think any of the 128 will deliver either. I got my order confirmation email at 12:03 and it was 1-2 weeks even then

I believe they knew they couldn't deliver and it's absolute crap that they didn't have the decency to tell us. I got up at 3AM for a 10/4 ship date? BS. Now if I want a Launch Day phone, it will be 5AM at the local Apple Store in hopes they have matte black instead. So aggravating.

I was able to get the 256GB Jet Black regular 7 for 9/16 but the first phone I ordered which was the 7+ jet black gave me a date of 23rd Sept. to 3rd Oct. and this was just 5 minutes after site launch.

Unfortunately no pick up available for Att next. I still maintain that they knew they couldn't deliver this model by 9/16 and let us think they could...
 
It's like when you try to order an iMac online, but you want a better processor and more memory. You can't pick that up right away. You have to wait. It appears that Apple didn't produce any 256GB jet black iPhone Plus's for launch.

But it's not like that at all. I ordered the stock model. No add ons no special configuration.
