Oh no mate, its a store display fabricated by Apple. The picture is not mine, its from the thread I was referring to. The one in the picture came from CompUSA. My display? I really do not know. I bought it from a guy in the US ;)

Will post a picture of it all eventually. Just been quite busy recently.

What did he do? Was it a sealed mini or an empty box?

Engraved? It doesn't really matter when it's sealed right? ;)

iPod Photo Box?

I have seen different iPod Photo boxes and now I'm wondering if anybody knows the difference? There is one white box with light blue text and there is a black box with the ipod screen with images and silver text.

I found pictures on both boxes, one in this thread and the other on macworlds webpage. Anybody care to clarify this?

I believe there were a few revisions of the iPod Photo, first released in 40GB and 60GB capacities (white box), then 30GB and 60GB (black box) followed by 20GB and 60GB (black box). Perhaps the serial numbers and their production week will give some answers? I have a 20GB iPod Photo week 25 of 2005 if that helps, black box labeled only as "iPod 20GB PC + Mac"

Yes, that could be it. It's definitely not the HP box. The white box is missing from my collection, and also the HP boxes ;)

Your iPod must be the 4th gen color screen model MA079LL/A?

Ah, if only I could get back some of the ones I have had, lol. I have owned every iPhone model since the original, and should have kept them instead of selling or giving them away when upgrading. And I had a first gen iPod nano 2gb black, that stopped working (I think the battery died or something), and I threw it away just a month or two before they started that program where you could send it in for a replacement. Talk about a face palm there, lol.

Hmm, this is all very interesting!

And i'm just gonna snowball on that...

would any iPod collectors like to purchase my ipod for $75? Its a 4th gen, black 8gig, perfect condition, no issues, no nonsense iPod.

I'm dreading getting rid of it but there is no space left for new songs. :( I'm so bummed because I have made playlists so awesome, changed options like volume, time end/start and even have the songs play counts and dates added that i dont want to part with. :(

Anyway, for sale! $75 if you'd like :)
