you guinea pigs can go first, let the rest of us know how it goes.
Did anyone actually read the story? "According to a super-secret Apple source."
Can anyone verify that build 9J60 came out earlier today?
I think we are going to see SL in WWDC, but I don't think it's going to come out till Sep-Oct.
No. I see your point, but its wrong. Apple will let Microsoft release Windows 7, then when its out, and people start reporting the thousands of bugs, and some Windows bashing reviews get their teeth into it and give it terrible reviews Apple will slam out Snow Leopard as the saviour alternative, like the second coming of Christ, and eveyone will be like, hey Windows is so bad lets stick with something solid like Apple and Snow Leopard.
This will also give Apple more time to perfect Snow Leopard than Microsoft and Windows.
But what are you patiently waiting for? Are you having issues that you know 10.5.7 will address? 10.5.6 has been rock solid.
My only issue with 10.5.6 is that TM hourly backups occasionally fail. Other than that all is good.
Yeah yeah, we've heard that story already...
Magic 8-ball says..... rats,"ask again later" =)
That would break a trend, wouldn't it? 2.8;3.9;4.11;... 10.5 should end >11.
So can we predict that 10.5.7 will come out before 10.6.0, then have a final 10.5.8 release with 10.6 (or just after) as a "final" edition?
But will it have copy & paste?
Really hope this solves the freezing issues on unibody Macbook Pros.
Mine usually freezes once or twice a day during WoW, but I've had it freeze while using Photoshop, Netflix Streaming and VMWare Fusion a couple of times.
I'm positive it's a driver issue, as it's never happened to me in Vista/Bootcamp mode.
Actually, when I read the article earlier this afternoon, it actually said "chopping at the bit." I'm sure I wasn't the only person who wrote in letting them know they were completely off.
Is it the "proper" spelling or just a different spelling?
I've noticed a humorous political correlation to the Vista disaster and the introduction of Windows 7.
Vista = The Bush administration
Win7 = Obama

Need I say more? ...
You're right. According to World of Apple developers were provided with build 9J60 on Tuesday evening/night. It only lists one single bugfix this time.Did anyone actually read the story? "According to a super-secret Apple source."
