Someone stole my 32 GB 5 when I was on vacation so I just ordered a 64 black through AT&T. The email said 14-21 business days but the manager told me wit the 64 GB models, they usually ship in a couple days. Has this happened to anyone?

I have a feeling it might be due to proximity of where it's shipped from and where it's going. Do not if you don't feel comfortable saying , but what general area are you in?
Let's just say I live in the Pacific Northwest. I don't know where it ships from, and I heard it's Texas, but I'm not sure.
Yes it's from Dallas-Ft. Worth. Hm interesting, by plane, I'm definitely closer. Southern east coast.
They're probably going by the time you ordered and processing it in that order.
Assuming I order at Oct 29 will there be hope I could still get my Iphone 5 before Thanksgiving ??
I don't think it will, unless the amount of orders coming in slows down, which is highly unlikely.
Darn I was hoping things would ease up because everyone attention is now on the IPAD Mini I just hope I can get it before Christmas I'll be happy.😎

That's great! When you check the order status on UPS or FedEx, does it show the address it's shipping to? It's not showing on mine and I'm worried it'll get shipped to the wrong address 😱 lol

Well that means mid-next week mine will ship then. I'll be pushing the last day in the time window AT&T gave me for my order to ship.
So hopefully the 9/28 orders will come off BO tomorrow and ship by Friday, which doesn't sound so awesome cause I was hoping I'd have it in my hands by then... 🙁 now its looking like Monday or Tuesday

Yep 2 different 9/27 orders for 32gb have come off of backorder! I hope they move fast and get mine out tomorrow, it would be great to have it by Friday. I can hope....

Okay so I've been following this like 10/14 ahhaha. And my orders finally been moving! Here's the stuff.
9/30: Ordered white 16g iPhone 5 i store
10/1: Got the email about it and alll
10/23: Went from "In Progross" (or something) to back order
10/24: Came off back order!
I'm expecting it by Friday or Saturday! I'm so excited, my wait is finally over! At&t are a pain but when it comes down to it, my phone'll be here when they said (21-28 business days). Good luck to the rest of you guys still waiting!!
Btw I'm 17 so I obv didn't order or look at the email lol. That's why some stuffs a lil confusing
