Ah, gotcha. See, didn't know that either.

Seems like Beta 5 is more like a performance/bug fixing update rather than changes to UI and apps.
At this point that's all you can expect. From now on there wont be any significant UI changes.
Siri can now search iTunes, App Store and iBooks and you can even ask her to buy stuff.

"Enable SMS Relay
Jonathan's MacBook Air would like to use your phone number for SMS Relay"
First time I get this, macbook air is running mavericks, not yosemite.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I think a lot of people here though expect more "Visual Changes" just to see a new look or significant change.
Beta 5 is performing a lot quicker though. Thumbs up to that.
Those who followed WWDC already know that iOS 8 is more under the hood changes and tweaks and less feature and UI changes.
Personally, I'm excited about:
- Developers having access to share sheets to add more "open with" options and actions.
- The Handoff/Continuity with my Macbook Pro
- The ability for Devs to add their own widgets to notifications.
There's a screenshot at http://9to5mac.com/2014/08/04/apple-releases-ios-8-beta-5-to-developers/Anyone have a screenshot of Enable SMS Relay?
Much snappier on my 4S.
