I think you forgot the 2004 leap year, I make it 38.030912 a minute for 5 years, (roughly 34.566672 for 5.5 years).

Now who would give this a negative vote?
Here's to the next 100 million Apple, congratulations!
yaaaa!
I find it a little hard to believe that 22% of respondents bought 5 or more ipods. I think we have some fake responses going on. What do you think?

Does that average 38ish iPods a minute for 5 years?
I wonder if the Zune will ever reach a million?![]()
Zune to accomplish this feat next week.
No problem, I voted 3, but have only actually bought 2 of them (as explained in my post above). So our two wrongs cancel each other out...Oops, I voted wrongI currently have 2 iPods, I've bought 3.
Thread 500. And really, you never know if something is going to succeed or fail until it does, in my opinion. Which is why, though I do criticize those who say the iPhone will fail drastically for reason X or Y, I don't yell out that it will definitely succeed either.
Pants: Sounds very revolutionary to me.
hey - heres an idea Apple - rather than enter the world of gimmicks and toys, why dont you spend a little more time sorting out your pathetically expensive and crap server line up?
or are you really aiming to become a glorified consumer gimmicks firm?
i remember that thread vaguely... well, i remember apple fans being super disappointed with the iPod at first intro... it's so funny reading the angry comments from Thread 500... like this guy:
That is a lot of iPods, wonder how this compares to the Walkman.
Oh, I read that same article. But you should have checked the backseat of your DeLorian for illegal artifacts before returning from 15 years in the future.Zune to accomplish this feat next week.
When you first think about it...its like.."wow 100 million"....but then....try and picture a million ipods.....and then multiply that by 100 and its like...WOW...
