Apple Issues Invitations for iPad 3 Media Event on March 7

See could be referring to either the new apple TV or iTV. But retina display definately seems more logical. At first I thought saying touch was a bit redundant, but maybe the home button is gone? The screen doesn't look like its in landscape to me.

Thanks maclook. I just did the same thing, and what struck me is that my fingers are MUCH larger than the one in the photo. Same with your photo. Any chance they won't just announce a retina display iPad 3 but also a Mac Touch? (I wish) Or maybe they're just making the icons bigger...

This is really simple. The invitation image was showing the location, the time, and what will happen.
Giz points out that you can't get the spacing between the icons like that unless you are in portrait mode so now I think they are going all out no home button. I'm not an iPad user (yet, I'm getting an iPad 3) but what about the other buttons. Which other buttons (or the switch) do you not use often and could be eliminated. Seems changing the volume could be done with a gesture as well as locking orientation.
I don't think so. They have always used hand models for their ads and commercials.
I'll be in the air on the 7th but have time at MSP to make a trip to MoM and hope that they will actually be for sale then. It's my first iPad and will replace my 2005 12" PowerBook. I haven't been so excited about a new Apple product since I bought my iPod in 2004.
March 7 cant come any sooner. Now all I'm hoping for is they have a few available on day one. My friend will be US until 10th of march and will get me one if he can't get his hands on it
