Re-reading the rules, I just noticed that the first post setting them out dates from April. Yikes!

Yep. I did so back then, and this evening, I thought it might be a good idea to take a fresh look at them.
I think we ought to just sit everybody down at a piano and have em tickle the ivories.... see what happens!

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE [WW] GAME
Caprica, the capital and premier world of the Thirteen Colonies.
As nuclear explosions rocked the foundations of Humankind's civilization, the battleship known as Galactica underwent a ten-minute transition from a museum looking backwards to a forgone era to the guardian of the final vestige of the civilization.
The Battlestar Galactica.
As the Cylon Raiders swarmed the Caprica's atmosphere, backed up by a huge Basestar, the battlestar and the last remaining ships with a functioning hyperdrive scrambled to jump, to escape certain destruction and extinction.

As the battlestar and the remainder of the Thirteen Colonies wrap in one by one in uncharted space, the crew try to deal with the logistics of keeping the ship and her fleet running, what to do next and their own inner turmoil over the loss of civilization.

Just for clarity, are BSG spoilers okay in this thread? I'm guessing they are but don't want to ruin someones BSG viewing.
Pretty much. At any rate. For US-based people. I will (for the remainder of this week only) be in the graveyard shift, so expect my activity to be night-time only.
As we seem to be starting at night, we await the outcome of the night's (doubtless busy) activities. Then, I assume, once day comes, (and the outcome of the night's activities are broadcast to us by the GG) the business of voting can be commenced with.

There was a memorial service for Comeagain? as his body was jettisoned out into the emptiness of space.
Prior to the service his body was investigated and confirmed to be human.
Comeagain? killed by Cylons. It is now DAY.
