[...] while our esteemed GG has informed us that there is a 'traitor' in our midst.

This means, if my reading (or re-reading) of the rules is correct, that 'Baltar' and 'Six' have found each other, and that someone, originally described as human, is now of a most disturbingly ambiguous loyalty.

Wow, what makes you think that Baltar and Six found each other? ravenvii, are the narratives part of the game?

Updated tally on the basis of ss:

Sythas: (3): (Moyank24, Silent Panda, WoodNUFC)

Koodauw: (3): (Scepticalscribe, Tomorrow, Plutonius)

WoodNUFC: (3): (chrmjenkins, Twietee, don't Panic)

Queen of Spades: (2): (Sythas, Jav6454)

Jav6454: (1): (Queen of Spades)

Silent Panda: (1): Koodauw

Don't Panic: (1): Rick Snagwell

right now it seems like Sythas has to pay for his vote for QoS with his head  that'll be a lesson to him..:D

I'm sorry mighty Queen of spades, I won't go after you again when I mispell your name ;).

Now I would like to go against Scepticalscribe (pretty sure she's happy that I don't butcher her name anymore) or Moyank24, but I will go after WoodNUFC. Yes the start for a bandwagon was fast, I know we can't really have a lot of information, suspicion in day 1, but I think there was some ground around Koodauw, more than me anyway for a bandwagon. By choosing WoodNUFC, I let him switch to Koodauw and create a 4 votes tie.

I will only say this: I am only a citizen. I have no special way of proving my innocence, so you will have to make the choice on whether or not you believe me.

As I've reached 4 first, there is no real benefit for me to change my vote at this point in time.

Now, I must get back to school work. Good luck fellow citizens, choose wisely.

Hm. I may have read the rules too often, and mis-read post No 125 which spoke of 'at least one Cylon' among us, rather than the word 'traitor' which I thought I might find.

It seems I may have been too hasty in reaching this conclusion. Perhaps Six and Baltar have not yet located one another, although there were a number of opportunities for them to do so last night.

Why, thank you, murderous sir. Cannot possibly think why I might merit your unwanted attention.

But, above all, a deep, profound and heartfelt thank you for taking the time and trouble to spell my nom de plume correctly, and for ensuring that you butcher it no longer.

Oddly enough, as things stand, I believe you, and, to even things up a little, as well as for being a little cheeky, I'll switch my vote, here, too. So, Sythas, for now.

In this situation, possibly, yes, indeed, although my weapon, as always, is merely my pen......

...which is even mightier than the sword.

Now the question is: Do Cylons use swords or laser eyes or pens? And do they prefer Cappucino, Latte Macchiato or Espresso?

Maybe Pluto knows the answers?

Well, I like to believe that my trusty quill is indeed mightier than any foul weapon wielded by an alien aggressor, or illiterate warlord, or indeed, anyone else who bears us ill intent...

An espresso machiato, or a robust double espresso are my known preferences.....

I'd guess - given the stellar setting, that lasers rather than swords are the weapons of choice for our lurking Cylon visitors.

And, as of now, a Brief Update re Current Voting:

WoodNUFC: (4): chrmjenkins, Twietee, Don't Panic, Sythas

Sythas: (4): Moyank24, Silent Panda, WoodNUFC, Scepticalscribe

Koodauw: (2): Plutonius, Tomorrow

Queen of Spades: (1): Jav6454

Jav6454: (1): Queen of Spades

Silent Panda: (1): Koodauw

Don't Panic: (1): Rick Snagwell

ALSO: The Cylon looks like a hot chick. Must be Moyank24.

Simply riding on Tomorrow suggestion that the Cylon must be a woman, we boys, can be easily distracted and then really easy for you to take over our world.

Now I'm still a little protected by the fact that WoodNUFC was with 4 votes before me. I think you did a strategic move by putting me with 4 votes. (and I must say I was stunned with laughter, because I did not think about that situation)

But by switching from Koodauw to me, there's no chance now that we hang him now, maybe trying to help a friend in need ?

So far no instances of wolf/cylon sighting... I dread changing my vote to lock in against either Sythas or WoodNFUC hence look guilty. Not doing so however, seems equally guilty. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

"Get out of the way! Get the frack out of the way!"

As the marines pushed their way though the former prisoners that inhabit the prison-ship, Astral Queen, the crowd made a clearing around a dead body.

The Astral Queen

Shouts of "he's a Cylon! He's the Cylon we're looking for!" came from the crowd as the marines clear a path towards the body. A marine shouted into a handheld transceiver, "send in a Specialist! They're claiming Cylon!"

Minutes later, a Specialist rushed into the room and approached the body.

Among shouts of "Cylon! Cylon! Cylon!", the Specialist declared, "Human." The crowd fell into silence.

"This is Commander Adama. The tragedy today will not be allowed to happen again. There will be no citizen-initiated vigilant actions. A tribunal has been established, and any who are accused shall be brought before the tribunal and allowed to defend himself or herself.

We will not succumb to destroying ourselves. That is what the Cylons want. They will not get it.

Commander Adama out."

WoodNUFC has been killed, and is a human.

It is now NIGHT. DEADLINE: Tomorrow, at 11 AM EST.

I am voting for Twietee tomorrow

But, first, we have to get through the night unscathed.

Seriously, we sit around, biting our fingernails, at night. We brood, accuse, and vote, (erroneously sometimes) during the day.

WoodNUFC, I'm sorry - I never for one minute thought you guilty of anything.

The first few days of any WW game usually stink. Nobody has any information and we all just somewhat randomly point fingers. It's like inviting people to play Clue and kicking them out of the game after roll the dice once.

Here's hoping for Tomorrow's sake that Koodauw can't predict the future twice.

"This is President Roslin. As the President of the Twelve Colonies, I am dissolving the Martial Tribunal and establishing a Citizen Tribunal in its place.

LauraRoslin.jpg

President Laura Roslin

We are NOT under Martial Law. Commander Adama had no authority to establish the tribunal. We will continue to have a functioning government, elected by the people.

And a functioning government has a court system to support justice. And justice we shall have.

We are now sending search parties via hyper warp to search for the planet we know as Kobol, where the Twelve Tribes originated and left to establish the Twelve Colonies.

From there, the location of Earth will be found. Our new home. Where we can find a future for humankind.

This is President Roslin, and thank you for listening."

No one died last night. It is now DAY. 13 remain, and 7 is the majority.

yes, although it could also mean that they tried to kill #12 (= no kill)

Let's just hope that one of our losses was Baltar.
