...It's funny every time I get a new iphone I can't believe how much smaller it feels in my pocket, I guess I won't have that feeling this year. lol

Hey! Is that an iPhone 6+ in your pocket! or are you just happy to see me? :p

(Prepare yourself to hear this over, and over, and over...)

Don't get it. I've seen where people have said their 5/5S is bent but I keep my phone in my pocket every day and have never had the issue.

They were probably women. They like to put their phones in the back pocket rather than their bra or purse.

Same can be said about those who post defending their purchase if their 4.7" sized iphone 6 model.
Lol, this is why I'm getting the 6+ first. I expected supply for the 6+ would be limited and I didn't want to regret not giving it a try given the significant improvement in battery life. If I hate it, at least I don't think the backlog for the 6 will be quite as bad. :p

Yeah, why is that? Any women care to comment?

I've seen some phones stuck on some back pockets of female pants that would require the Jaws of Life to remove. Isn't that bad for the phone? Are these phones breaking? They must be. I mean, they're in there TIGHT.

Yup, I agree! There seems to be tons of inventory if the 4.7" as of today, 3 days after preorder, you can still preorder the 4.7" model and still get it for release day delivery, 9/19/2014, LOL!

Some girls have "flat as a pancake" azz's. They won't bend. Ha ha

Women's jeans have extremely shallow front pockets. Even my iPhone 5/5s won't fit there and the 4/4S only fits horizontically and even then it's peeking out. For someone who doesn't carry purses and don't wear jackets, the back pocket is usually the only option.

What I'm reading is many Apple fans are exceptionally poor at making decisions thus hate choice. Instead of different options suiting different people there has to be one right answer that makes everything else wrong. It's interesting what makes people tick.

You know what mate, you're absolutely right.

Haha I was thinking that... I have a friend who has a phone 5.5" screen.. It doesn't seem to look awkward when in his pocket, not that I go looking around for bulges coming out of my friends pants though...

I'm worried about how it may look in dress pants, I guess I could always put it in my back pocket like a girl if worse comes to worse...

Maybe it's time to consider a man purse. They are very convenient. Some of us who carry concealed firearms have used them for years. There's a pocket that will fit the iPhone 6+ perfectly.

I was thinking more along the lines of a fanny pack...

Yes, those are good too. There's all sorts of flavors, depending on your activity and lifestyle. I have a black nylon one from Uncle Mike's I use when out bicycling or boating. I plan to keep my iPhone there.

For work, I'm going to try my front pocket. If that doesn't work, I need to find a good leather holster. But I think my front pocket will work fine.

It's not what they're buying, it's what they're going to buy.

Barclays projected sales of phablets rising from 27 million in 2012 to 230 million in 2015.

Source.

Tablet sales slumping, phablet sales growing.

People realising one device is cheaper and less weighty/bulky than two, and screen size is the compromise they're increasingly prepared to make.

You think the 6+ will outsell the 6?

Well, clearly it isnt because galaxy note has sold well and iphone 6 plus has had unbelievable demand.

Get over the facts that most people want big phones.

And why on earth were most people hoping there would be no 5.5 inch version?

Did you really have to make another thread about this? Most people saying it's too big is for their own personal use.

modern day version to that...

Is that an iPhone 6+ in your pocket or have you had a penis enlargement?

Nope, but the numbers will be much closer than most people would have guessed. There's a Reddit poll that was at 52/48 I think a couple of days ago..

So it's not most people then, its a lot of people. 6+ will be popular no doubt, but most people will be getting the 6

You either like the bigger screen or you dont, its simple. I am going for the 6 plus because of the size, the features, the battery and the OIS.

I'd guess the early adopters aren't a good sample of the population. We're probably a little more likely to spend more and tolerate the larger size for slightly better tech. Your average joe pays $199 for an iPhone. They're going to continue to do that.

Yeah, I've also noticed a lot of gay guys prefer smaller phones. Weird. I wonder why that is?

You lost any and all credibility with this last ignorant post and homophobic post.

Basically your saying that most men currently using current generation iPhones are gay?

We get it. You're a sad homophobic male trying to justify your iphone 6+ purchase.

Strange way in doing so.

After a few days, the phone just feels normal to you. Had a note 3 an it was fine in every way an made me hate going back to a smaller screen as I preferred ios.

Well, I'm gay and ordered the 6 plus. I currently have the iPhone 5s, which is small and the LG 3G (for biz) which is large - slightly smaller than the 6 plus. So, I'm all over the map with that. Oh, and all previous versions of the iphone have been black before the 5s, now I'm on to silver - so I guess I fit one stereotype now :D

I really didn't take ZB's post as homophobic, btw...

Just be happy the Apple finally listened to those people and gave them what they want. All people asked for was a choice.

It would be a mistake in my opinion if they did away with the smaller phone and had only made the plus available. How would that be fair?

I love the iPhone in its smaller configuration and feel the 4.7 will be perfect. To each his own.

He was only suggesting gays are like girls or are doing something unsavoury with their phones.

Not homophobic at all :D

yeah, I didn't read that at all. and let's say he did mean that, how is that a phobia?

maybe I'm not a sensitive enough gay guy. Oops, was that homophobic statement? ;)
