Carrier Vodafone UK Pre-order Thread

Been checking all day. Order now has link to tracking so i assume im getting it tomorrow!

Stage 4 now.

Ordered about 5-6 PM on the 12th.

Iphone 6 64GB Silver
 
Had an upgrade kerfuffle with Vodafone on the 12th where they were rude to me so I left, and ordered an EE contract through CPW. Voda rang back today and offered me a great deal to stay. SO, basically, just upgraded half an hour ago. The man on the phone said there's still a slim chance my 6+ 64GB will come over the weekend, but probably next week, maybe in a month. They had no way of knowing how much stock they have, but it's worth it to save money in the long run and I'll be taking my EE CPW phone back to a store once it's delivered.
 
Getting mine tomorrow!

Hi Guys,

I ordered mine last Friday for in store collection, I had a text at 15:57 from Vodafone saying:
"We are please to let you know your order will be in store and ready to pick up on launch day, this Friday."

I ordered for in store collection because with the iP5 launch mine didn't arrive until 16:30 so at least this way I get it nice and early!
 
Hey folks,
for any one sitting on stage two worried they wont be receiving (i ordered friday 12/09). I went on live chat for the umpteenth time today, told them my story i needed to let my boss know by 5pm today if i needed tomorrow off or not. For the first time the operative wanted to connect me to the correct department who confirmed that i will be receiving my handset tomorrow. So there is still hope for those still on stage two, thats still the stage my order is sitting at. Hope this helps.

Pleased for you :) I hope it's a good omen for mine. I actually think I will cry if it doesn't turn up tomorrow and that's pure madness! :rolleyes:;)

I feel you on that one! have you tried live chat? maybe put you out your misery? Even folks who ordered on the Tuesday have had confirmation! I am not 100% comfortable yet I will be once I have full consignment details. Fingers crosssed for you.
 
I am still on two! I have only spoke physically to one adviser (who assured me my 64gb gold upgrade would be here tomorrow) rest was live chat, vodafone don't really seem to know what's going on it would appear? I hope they haven't got it wrong as I will have taken a day off for nothing! unpaid!

Their online tracker says it updates at 5 minutes past every hour and it shows on the page when it was last updated. I waited until it said it updated at 17:05 and tried again - no change, still stuck on stage 3.

However, out of desperation, I just did it again at about 15 minutes past the hour and I got stage 4. WTF?

Just spoke to what sounded like a very stressed out man in the UK call centre, wasn't an overseas one which was nice. He said basically they have no idea when your phone will arrive, it might arrive today or within the next week, you might get a tracking number, and it might arrive before the tracking number has made it onto their system.

Oh joy.
 
It looks like the Vodafone staff have had a long/stressful day with people calling/enquiring about when their iPhones will be delivered: have a look here:

I've heard nothing from them, had no order numbers texts etc so I assume my phone will not be delivered tomorrow. My girlfriend on the other hand ordered from Apple direct so at least I get to see an iPhone 6+ in the flesh tomorrow!
 
Hmm, not great live chat.

THEM: We've checked that for you and we can see that the estimated delivery time is on the 19th. We will get a confirmation text/email once the phone is dispatched. At this point it will go to stage 3
ME: OK so it's still a maybe by the sound of it?
THEM: To be totally honest with you we cannot confirm that as the we can see that the order is in a process now and that the estimated time so far is by tomorrow

So I'm no further on but it looks unlikely it'll be tomorrow. *cries*

My 6 Plus 64GB Silver all confirmed, on for delivery tomorrow via DPD :)

Having been through this scenario since the original iPhone release, I decided not to stress and waited until the surge of people trying and crashing the websites had died down. Ordered seamlessly at around 2PM last Friday.

Not being that smug yet as I haven't got it in my hands but we'll see hahaha! :)
 
I feel sorry for the dudes who have ordered from the apple store having to wait so many thousand weeks etc.......:)

And what's all that queuing up since 3AM all about?? :)

I got a call from Vodafone, the phone is ready to pick up from tomorrow! But I won't be there until wednesday :(
