Does this proof of finding AT&T network mean that those T Mobile phones will work for example in Europe with a random carrier? Is there any other tricky part of which i need to be aware?
I have a friend in the States currently, who can buy a T mobile iphone 6 for me, if it is 100% sure it will work back in Bulgaria
So do I have to be confident already and proceed with the buying?

What carrier are you using? Manually set the APN. Also try rebooting.

Yes, it should work for any foreign GSM-based carrier. Bulgaria should be no problem.

Strange. What steps did you take when you got the phone? Did you start it up with the T-Mobile SIM in it? Or did you put the AT&T SIM in first?

can anyone confirm if AT&T phones paid for retail is unlocked to use for TMobile? So basically vice versa
I wouldn't worry about that. I don't think a phone can lock itself to some other carrier. If this is deeply concerning to you, I can put the T-Mobile SIM back in it and confirm it picks up a network.

1) Let us know the steps you used to turn on the phone. Did you boot it with the T-Mobile SIM first?
2) Check to make sure cellular data is on (under Settings -> Cellular)
3) Try restarting the phone (though you've probably already tried this)
4) Try restoring via iTunes
If none of that works, let us know and we can offer up some other suggestions. Data is definitely working for me and did out of the box.
FYI, when I got a replacement iPhone 5S from Apple, I was back in the UK at the time visiting from the USA. They replaced my AT&T unit, and I put in my UK O2 SIM in it first (to see what would happen). This actually locked it to O2 so I had to exchange it AGAIN and make sure to put in my AT&T SIM.
So it's certainly possible these units lock to the first network detected. Is it likely? Perhaps not. But it's certainly not 100% conclusive that the device is unlocked until multiple networks have been tested or the phone restored to see the message in iTunes.

Any AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon "Device Only" iPhones sold at an Apple retail store are unlocked. Make sure you ask for "Device Only."
So can i use this T-Mobile Unlock version with any sim card? i mean back in my country? Im little worry, im gonna be in the states until next friday and i wanna take one iphone 6 back with me.
The the UK store messed up. If you get an unlocked unit warranty replaced they are supposed to replace it with another unlocked unit. One more question: i have to do something with the phone before i leave the store i mean something with the sim card? because i didnt have my sim with me
Something sounds off here because the model of the iphone 5s in the UK is different from the US. The UK version won't pick up at&t LTE.. They should not have exchanged it.

Not that more confirmation is needed, but my iPhone 6 "T-Mobile" ordered from Apple came today and accepted my Cricket SIM with no trouble. So, it's not only pure AT&T that works in these "T-Mobile" phones, but they appear to be unlocked for any GSM SIM in the US.
