I think if we get a dog, it will most likely be a Belgian shepherd or a border collie.

Border Collies are exceptionally intelligent and loyal, but extremely high maintenance

I know - we have a friend who is on her second.

The first one, I kid you not, died from ingesting half a dildo.

Her new one is from a rescue - he's great. You throw a ball, he gets it, plops it down at your feet and won't leave you alone until you throw it again. If you move, he picks up the ball and drops it at your new location. :D

You have a beautiful dog. It's the same with Aussie's. People always think mine is a boarder collie. The knots she'll get in her hair are unreal.

Sounds like my pup. Except she's partial to the frisbee. If you tell her "closer" she'll drop it on your feet.

Yeah, she left opne of her, uh, "toys" on her bed, the dog found it, chewed on it all day and ingested about a pound of rubber, which became lodged in the dogs intestines and killed it.

I kid you not.

Gail never was the quickest of cats.

I have had dogs all my life and currently have two right now. I hated cats for the longest time but now I have fallen in love with them. While recently visiting the Petsmart on Southside in Jacksonville I played with some of the adoptable cats and fell in love. As soon as I get out of the UNF dorms and into an appartment I'm getting a cat. This will be aside the rabbit that will be brought by my girlfriend and a turtle my friend wants. Hopefully we will only have to pay one pet deposit though since it is only one uncaged animal. I need a short haired cat because my friend is alergic. Anyone have any suggests? I want playful but one with a lot of personality and attitude.
